Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Nakamaway is a free manga and anime discovery platform run by an independent developer based in Spain. For any privacy request, write to rayajustwork@gmail.com or reach out on X (@FabioTassone86).

2. What we collect

• No accounts. You can browse Nakamaway without registering. We do not collect names, emails or passwords for browsing.
• Comments and suggestions. If you post a comment or a suggestion, we store the nickname you type and the text of your message. These are publicly visibleon the site — do not include personal information you don't want public.
• Language preference. A cookie named NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language you picked (duration: 1 year). It contains no personal data.
• Aggregate analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for anonymous, cookieless usage and performance metrics.

3. Third-party services

• Vercel — hosting and content storage (comments are stored on Vercel Blob).
• Jikan API (MyAnimeList) — the source of all manga and anime data shown on the site. We send it search queries, not personal data.
• Stripe — if and when premium subscriptions are active, payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

4. Legal basis and retention

We process the data above to provide the service you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and, for analytics, on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding aggregate usage (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Comments stay published until you ask us to remove them.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access, correction or deletion of your data (for example, a comment you posted). Email rayajustwork@gmail.com with a link to the content. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).

6. Content rights

All manga and anime titles, images and metadata belong to their respective creators and publishers. Nakamaway links only to official, licensed platforms.
