I enjoyed the manga overall, but personally, there were just too many ecchi scenes for my taste. They could have easily been left out, but for some reason, the author chose to include them. If it weren't for those scenes, I would have easily given it a 9. However, with them, I’ll stick with a 7. Despite that, the manga is still worth checking out, so if you're interested, I'd say go ahead and give it a read! Story: The story is interesting, but it can be a bit predictable at times. Despite that, I still enjoyed it because I like the genre and setup. It'sgot a mix of action, supernatural elements, and some darker themes that kept me hooked. Art: The art style fits well with the tone of the story. It has great attention to detail, especially during action scenes, and captures the darker, intense moments perfectly. However, the art can sometimes be a bit fanservice-heavy, especially in the ecchi scenes. Characters: The characters are fairly well-rounded, though some may feel a bit one-dimensional at times. The main protagonist has strengths and flaws that make him relatable, but there are moments when the other characters' reactions to events feel exaggerated or unrealistic. Reactions: Overall, the characters’ reactions to situations feel a bit forced at times, especially during the ecchi scenes, but it doesn’t detract too much from the plot. If those scenes were toned down, I think the character development could have been stronger. Overall: I think others will still enjoy this series, especially fans of the genre, but if you're not into ecchi content, it might be a bit much. For me, those scenes were unnecessary, but the overall story and characters make it worth reading.
What does one consider to be a monster? A horrible bloodsucking vampire? Frankenstein's creation? Shuichi Kagaya has a secret. Other than having great grades and being skilled at sports, he isn’t what one would call normal. In fact, Shuichi cannot even be considered human. One fateful morning, he woke up as a monster. With brute strength, an abnormally strong sense of smell, big fluffy paws, and the depression and self-hate that comes after losing one's humanity, his life was suddenly flipped upside down. Claire Aoki, the girl he had decided to save, now holds his secret over his head. Claire is a sadistic and utterly twisted girl, with no sense of empathy toward the lives of others. Before meeting Shuichi, she was in the search of monsters, hoping to find her monster sister. Despite becoming a monster, Shuichi naively continues to hold onto his human morals, but how long can one last in this insufferable way of living? [Written by MAL Rewrite]
