This story is absolutely terrible. I despise it. The art is bad, but at least it was somewhat unique. I have no idea how good or bad the source material was, but this manga was awful. The romance was unbelievable. None of the characters were likable or very rememberable. Apparently it was a comedy as well, but I didn't notice. In the story's defense at least comedy is very subjective. The art style hinted that there was a hidden darker theme, which was the only reason I was sticking with the story, but the "twist moment" finally happened and it was utterly pathetic. I guessthe readers in Japan didn't like it either because after that moment the manga barely lasted another ten chapters (for the uninitiated, ten chapters is usually how long an author is given to finish the story once a manga with somewhat decent reception is decided to be axed). It was trying so hard to be deep, it ended up being really childish and edgy. Also I just want to comment on how much I hated the mc. While I didn't care much for any of the characters particularly, he was particularly unlikeable. I also hated the ending so much that I decided to write this review. There was no character development, there was no growth, and there were literally no changes from the first chapter. The entire story was completely inconsequential. Even in the context of its on plot, there was no point of this story even existing. Even though I didn't like it I won't spoil the ending, but it was a complete middle finger to the rest of the story and the readers. The only reason I finished the story is because there weren't many chapters left after the big reveal, but I wish I hadn't. I honestly don't know why this story has an almost a 7/10, as it may be my least manga I've ever finished, and I've read some awful shit. I'm still debating if a 2 was overly generous.
Kanaruzawa Sekai, "The God Who Lived A Thousand Years," is a beautiful girl with silver hair and red eyes. She's pompous and does not know much about her surroundings, and despite her childish appearance, she can tolerate alcohol and tobacco, and spends her day in her mansion reading books. Offered to her as a "living sacrifice" is high school student Kirishima Yuuki. As he was told she'd grant her one thing in exchange of being the sacrifice, Kirishima said: "Kanaruzawa Sekai-san, marry me." And so, they start to live their life together—but their days without peace nor love became disrupted, as the world began to be disordered due to a terrifying secret concerning the whole world. A comedically pure love, and a never-ending story begins here! (Source: Official description, jCafe24)
I didn't had much hopes for this manga, Art is good (not unique or special). Story is below average FOR THE MOST PART. (or average as even quintessential quintuplets and jobless reincarnation have gotten traction Yes, i'm choosing war over fans of these mangas/LN). But i like to finish thnigs, so when i reached near the end boy what a FLIP happened 😊. I Loved Code:GEASS (I Haven't watched R3 and will not watch). I Loved Heros Lore: ZERO (A Game from OLD era) And i also loved "Monku no Tsukeyou ga Nai Love Comedy" OR "NEVER ENDING STORY".I Recommend Binge Reading of this manga. For Me It was a very good manga, it's just that the audience that it built throughout it's run was not expecting this ending. The similar thing Happened to "Sankarea: Undying Love"
