First off, let me point out a mistake in tag labels for this manga. In Bura! is definitely the most typical of shounen ecchi harem, and not seinen as tagged on MAL. Story-wise, In Bura! is your typical ecchi harem manga that takes place at school. The only purpose of "vampire twist" in this manga is to justify giving female characters blood-sucking property, thus characters can become involved in more erotic accidents. In Bura! does slightly better in the character department, as well as it could have done to introduce numerous female main characters in merely 2 volumes anyways. The only female character that gets development throughoutthe story is the main lead, Ian Itanami, whose character is somewhat explored. The other female characters follow stereotypes that are commonplace in manga and elsewhere, such as tsundere, maids, etc. To be honest, when readers start this manga, they wouldn't expect to find complex "story" or "character" in a strictly ecchi harem manga. Most, if not all of its readers are attracted to this manga because of its nose-bleeding fan-service, which it had done phenomenally well. In Bura! takes the usual ecchi fan-service many steps further than the usual panties-shots and boobs-squeeze. It literally unashamedly achieved super sexiness, without the need of actually showing nipples 99% of the time! This is something that I must give credits to the mangaka for. By now, you should have realized that the artwork in this manga is very good. From the characters' expressions to the clothing, the details are well illustrated. Overall, whether you read this manga really depends on whether you find enjoyment in seeing (many) sexy girls getting into hot positions with a fictional male character. If you are especially a fan of ecchi-harem, I would whole-heartedly recommend this one. For the sake of giving it a score, I will give it 6/10. *I use MAL's standard score system, so 5-6 is around the average.
After an accident our protagonist Amagami Kouichi becomes involved with Itanami-san a well known beauty of his school and secretly a vampire. (Source: MU) Included one-shot: Volume 2: Omaneki Are!
Well to start off. this is my first review and i'm pretty lazy with my work so ill just give you the gist of everything. The start of the anime was interesting, PLENTY of fanservice and all the characters seem interesting. Sadly this was all cut short by the fricken rushed/ terrible ending as well as the manga being axed. this is possible the only reason as to why my score is what it is. It deserves better but that is the reality and harsh life of the manga/anime world. It was just sadly wasted manga as it had so much more room to growbut if only they had made a second chance im pretty sure everyone would be hooked. The humor is also a light touch to the story but like i said, the ending sadly ruins it all even though its not even the writer's fault. I suggest this anime if you're into some fanservice harem with a touch of comedy. Story: 7 Art: 8 Character: 7 Enjoyment: 8 Overall: 8 I really enjoyed this anime despite the piteous ending.
Story Very simple and predictable, often felt rushed. Actually, it's hard to even talk about story here. Comedy parts were decent and ecchi scenes very good, even if sometimes they felt forced. Harem element was introduced properly, although some side characters had extremely small roles, wasting their potential. Art Solid. Characters looked pretty, facial emotions were cute and ecchi scenes... ecchi. Art was clean, with no clutter that'd make it hard to read. At the same time there was nothing that'd make it outstanding or unique. Characters Strongest point of this manga. Even though there wasn't enough development for them, all girls were really likable and cute. Characters weren't usualarchetypes, each of them felt interesting and made me want to see them more. Main weakness of this part is lack of flat-chested girls, as the only one that appeared didn't get much attention, and, previously mentioned, lack of development. Enjoyment Very enjoyable. Good art and characters are enough to make ecchi harem fun. I'll probably forget about this manga in few days, but I don't mind. It's short manga that doesn't require any deep thinking - perfect when you have 2 or so hours to waste and want to enjoy some cute comedy with good ecchi.
**Only recommended if you enjoy slop ecchi reads** Story: Turn your brain off and read. Nothing groundbreaking. The MMC blood being special that is common idea but unique enough. Especially for the time this came out. Characters: Classic harem tropes. Again morning crazy or anything "good". Why fix of it isn't broken type deal. You got the boring MMC who somehow attracts several girls who are wanting him. The FMC who has no archtype but still is an archtype. Tsundere who gives of milf vibes. Childhood friend who is a complete simp for MMC. Puppy loli. Art: Ok, hear me out, kinda good. Sure it is just booba and ecchi. Theart carries where the story drags. Overall: Slop, but the good kind. 6/10.
