The only reason for it being so short was scum management/production and screwing over the artist. Because of that, a lot of quality was lost, the conclusion isn't a conclusion, and the last thing anyone is left to thing about is how blatantly dull the Academy Arc is. And that's not even over by time the final chapter comes to be. If you're interested in this story, simply find spoilers because this comic sadly isn't worth the investment. . Everything pre-Academy is a gem and shows incredible promise. Exacting revenge from a first life none but you are privy to is a fun trope andthere are so many ways for FL to go about this. First, she saves her family, then she pretends to be an ignorant common girl that somehow overcomes true hurdles, ie cousin. That alone oozes potential of how her revenge will operate, to take form. On top of that, the art is wonderful and there's so much worldbuilding it stands-out amongst many in this ever-diluting genre. But that's over once she enters at the Academy. It's not only dragged-out, but there's not much to display her cunningness save her choice in disguise so she can move about unnoticed. This Arc alone is why a lot of readers dropped the story while it was still updating contrary to its worldbuilding and art. And, then, anyone who persevered this sudden slow Arc was left with nothing to show for it.
This is not a fairytale. No, this is a story of what lurks beyond the "happily ever after." Once upon a time, Elena assumed the role of Princess Veronica, married the crown prince, and lived happily... until her dutiful knight plunged his sword into her back and the true Veronica stepped out of the darkness. Now, Elena finds herself at the beginning of her cautionary tale. However, this time she intends to do more than play the star of the show. This time, Elena will direct the downfall of everyone who played a part in wronging her. (Source: Tapas Media)
I'm heartbroken at discovering this so late. The story had me deeply invested in the MC as a person. If ever I were to have the opportunity to allow an artist to continue their passion this would be the story I'd choose. What starts as a typical time reversal revenge story develops quickly into a story of education on the characters it involves. While some may find the setups to take a longer time than necessary it's a great blend of uptime and downtime which is needed to keep the story engaging yet easy to relax with. The author clearly had an idea and timeline they wantedto follow and unfortunately from what's reported the management team above them fumbled hard ending this story far before it should've. The art is typically fantastic to witness with the occasional gag drawings thrown in generating chuckles as you go. The work of the art team needs no exaggeration as they are veritable talents in their field and deserve high praise. This comic may not have the most satisfying of endings and leaves you wanting due to it's abrupt finale but it certainly speaks to me the effort which the team went through to make an enjoyable and engaging product.
