First thing you need to know about this manga is that it got official voice narration by official channel in YouTube. So if you want to have better experience of this one-shot manga with characters' voices, go search for the title in YouTube. My opinion about the manga: This is going to be a short review. I am not going to evaluate the manga based on the art, character etc whatsoever. I just want to say what I thought about the manga. First, I randomly bumped into this on YouTube. At first I'm kinda interested to it but on second thought, I passed because I don't reallyfind myself a fan of manga with skeleton as a character. But on 3rd thought, why not I try? If it seems like nothing is happening much, I'll just stop watching. The story is actually very simple. Nothing complicated, nothing too dramatic, nothing over the top. The manga is as per the title says, "Can You Fall In Love With The Skeleton?" which is telling a story if the male MC is actually able to fall in love with a skeleton, being that there's nothing attractive from its outward appearance. As you know, it's a skeleton. It's hard to get yourself attracted with them when you don't know their outer appearance... However, the manga's ending is again, simple, yet perfect with the given circumstances. Like I said before, you will have a better experience if you watch the official narration too. Unless if you can understand Japanese, you don't need to read the manga and instead you should go straight watching. Anyhow, I am satisfied with this manga.
A love story between a human and a skeleton.
Yooooooo this is fire!!! wow just wow, I think this is the first time I actually enjoyed a romance type manga and for once, I also like the comedy part unlike most of the generic romcoms I've read in the past and if you know me, I highly avoid pure romance mangas because it's too cringy for me. This is actually good for a one-shot, I mean if the author/mangaka tried to extend this then the beauty will slowly fade so I'm glad that this is just a one-shot manga. The story is quite generic to be honest but I don't know why I stilllike it, I highly recommend this if you want something short to read.
A 10 is high, I know, but there’s not much I can criticize Gaikotsu to Koi wa Dekiru no ka? for; the art is great, the characters are enjoyable, the pacing is perfect (a one-shot was definitely the best choice in this case), and the story has a surprising depth to it that you wouldn’t expect from its appearance. It’s very much a comedy, but the last portion of the story hits pretty hard. There’s really not much else I can say about this little gem (although I suppose that is to be expected given its length). I was not expecting to shed any tearswhen I first started it, but damn. A solid one-shot for sure, one I can’t recommend enough.
