This is a Superb manga, really i can't find any flaws.. ! the love in it is so sweet and pure it has all the shojo-manga moments in it. I'm on hold with it right now, and i am dying to know what happens next, and you are like that the hole story through..! We have the typical airhead girl who doesn't fear anything. And on top of that she has to fall in love with the schools most dangerous guy (or that is what the rumors say) And she has this brother (who by the way suffers from major sister complex) who says that shecan date anyone as long as it's not Asou-kun (the dangerous guy). Asou-kun started by trying to chase Hikaru (the main character) away, because if she's near him her reputation will get ruined too. But Asou-kun does it in a way that he tries to make her hate him. Which she just ignores, because she wants to be with him. I'm sure that whether you're to Shojo, Comical or action manga/anime you'll surely LOVE this one! i haven't met one person yet who didn't. p's none of this i've written is spoilers, the manga will surprise you even more! ;D
Hikaru Minami is a charming airhead whose mind is often lost in the vast, star-filled night sky. Along with her friends, she is a dedicated member of the astronomy club. While observing shooting stars alone one night, she bumps into a tall boy with bleached hair and, in that moment, she hears the tinkling of a bell. Minato Asou is notorious for regularly hanging out with bikers and gangsters, having a distant personality, and possessing a perplexing past spattered with violence and rumors. However, Hikaru chooses to judge him with her own heart, looking past the clouds of whispers wherein he conceals himself—and their unlikely friendship soon blooms into love. Hikaru brings out Asou's sincere gentleness for the world to see, but she also reveals a long-kept secret bound to the soft sounds of a bell. Moderator note: This review is for the one-shot, "Melodramatic Library", which has since been merged into Sora Log. I've always liked forbidden romances, so this story falls right into my kind of shoujo manga. It's just too bad that it's a one-shot. The art was great, I loved how the characters were drawn. The story is short and sweet and just the right amount of teasing ;), it has an unexpected twist which I did not see coming. I thoroughly enjoyed all 39 pages of it and you would too.
This story just finished, at this writing it just has some extras to go, so I thought I would write a review cause I really loved this manga. This is a must for all shoujo lovers. It is just 16 chapters plus some extras, so now that it's finished ( aside from the side stories which I can't wait to read! ) it won't take you that long, but it is one of those stories that is just so sweet and perfect you will love it and want more, even though the ending is just right. We havea girl Hikaru with an overprotective brother Bear, who falls for a guy Asou, who everyone says bad things about, but she refuses to believe the bad rumors cause somehow she knows he is really a good guy. She is not a cry baby and she is not stupid and she is determined. I started reading this in Jan of 2010 so I have been waiting for this! I give it an 8.5 and I really do like it. If you love music, watching the stars and a good love story without drama - read this! It is just an incredibly sweet sort of shoujo story that will leave you with only good feelings.
This is my first review so I'm sorry if it isn't good haha. This story is one of my favorites! When I first found sora log I thought it was gonna be just another classic romance manga but I couldn't have been more wrong. Story9/10 I really loved the story. It started really nice and was very refreshing to read but as it progressed it had plot twist and things from the characters pasts that were shocking but in a good way haha. Art10/10 I loved the art in this! In the main girls hair there are little braids underneath which I thought was different and cool.I love the way the guy is drawn and I love how cute some of the characters look when they were kids. Character8/10 The character development was great but it was lacking in a few areas. The main characters family confused me a bit. I didn't feel closure about the brother and his relation ship with his sister. The lead guy's family remained a mystery to me as well. Overall10/10 I loved this story so much! The romance in it was very nice but it wasn't a typical romance manga to me. The secret in the story really amazed me and I have probally read it 10 times by now. I can't encourage you enough to read this manga.
I highly advise you to read Sora Log. I loved this manga. I didn't really want to read this because I was afraid that the art wasn't the best. Though, I was very happy that I read this! The art was very very good. This romantic story will make your heart melt. From the sweet moments to the heartfelt words are so wonderful. If you love Shoujo and great love stories than read this! The main male in this (Asou) is at first the typical mysterious guy. But, as I moved along in the first few chapters his cold self fades for various moments and hebecomes a very gentle guy. The main female (Hi-kun; my pet name for her) is the usual cheery girl. BUT...she was not the typical naive and almost dumb girls that I usual see in mangas. She also had this very big obsession with the sky and stars. It was very cute to begin to see how the obsession ties into the story. So...I am totally telling you to read this! It was one of the best ones that I've read in along time! If you read this..you will NOT be disappointed.
