I will first start by saying the idea this story is trying to make is a little better than the general death game idea. A group of students are forced to kill each other or die one by one by the hands of the person they bullied. The problem comes from how it is made in the story. The motivation of the bullied kid doesn't have enough weight and is quickly explained within half of a page. None of the students seem redeemable or have enough growth to feel like they deserved this. The story feels rushed and if you are looking for good deathgame stories, you best look elsewhere.
Well, it is really short and artstyle is really really good, it looks like some old romance something like Fruits Basket, but everything else is pretty mid. So I feel like it was extremely rushed, the deathgame itself was questionable because it was not even a game, either you kill the culprit or die one by one and literally nothing happened. The main antagonist is revealed literally in the first chapter, his motivation is bad, characters literally didn't deserve to die and last plot twist about the culprit was extremely underwhelmiing I am not gonna spoil but I literally didn't care. But well it wasan easy read, the two main guys were not something special but they didn't bother me they were aight, so yeah, if you really love death games maybe you can spend half an hour on this, but if you are not a fan of this genre, you won't enjoy or like it.
One day, Matsui Sakura receives an invitation to a "Revenge Game," and decides to attend. At the location indicated, she ends up locked in a dorm-like building with four of her classmates. It appears that the Revenge Game is being run by a wealthy classmate, Saionji, who was bullied so badly by some of the students that it ruined his life. Now he is taking his revenge, in a brutal game that allows him to have one of his former tormentors killed each morning. However, Sakura—a lonely, quiet, orphan girl—does not understand why she is there, unless it was due to her inaction in stopping the bullying of others. She's also the only one who received an invitation, while the others were abducted or tricked into attending. What is the final purpose of this game? (Source: MangaHelpers)
