Love Calendar is a story about a specific relationship between two characters named Shiori and Kouki and how it develops and evolves during a year. Each chapter corresponds to a month. I can't say anything else about the plot because I don't want to spoil anything, as that will obviously ruin the experience for anyone curious about this manga. The art style is very simplistic and personally I'd appreciate a bit more detail as it would help me follow the story a bit better. I admit it took me a a little while to be able to read the pannels correctly the 1st time aroundand not needed to re-read the same thing to grasp the events happening throughout each chapter. Eventually I got used to it. It was enjoyable, interesting and relatable to a degree. It's a 7/10 for me.
Kouki and Shiori are high school students who fall in love for the first time in the month of April among the dancing sakura. But their experience with these new feelings is as tentative as the slightest wind of the changing seasons. Even so, never a day goes by that isn't stirred by their first love. The scenery they view from inside the Ferris wheel, walking on the streets together through the rainβin this fashion, the red thread that ties these two together grows stronger as time passes. This is the story of how they live their lives through the first six months of their relationship. (Source: Summer Rain)
