Nee Sensei is a very stereotyped yaoi manga. a relationship between a teacher and a student, nothing new. but not because that isn't good enought to read. The story is simple and predictable but have some details that make it cute and interesting in some points. The art is very well done and the author cared a lot about the details of the enviroment and the chracters in general. In general is very cute and all yaoi-fans will enjoy it to the end.
This review is MAINLY about the last chapter. The main story of this manga was meh at best. I also intensely dislike any story about teacher/student relationship. But. The last chapter was adorable. It's called "Unbreakable bone", this is one of my favorite short stories ever, and directly falls into my preferred trope of “ex-criminal feels ashamed of his past” and “kind hearted guy doesn’t judge”. A short story but definitely one I go back to re read a lot, it has two great characters being kind to each others and communicating the main obstacle for the start of their relationship, like adults! This one chapter has onlyone graphic scene, and the rest was a lot of angst and some fluff. Definitely ideal for me!
Ch. 1-4 + Extra This story is about a relationship between a teacher and his student, Homura. It just so happens that Homura's older sister Kaori was the teacher's 1st girlfriend. Back then, the teacher would always use Homura as excuse to run away whenever something happened and he would never get in the "mood" whenever he was with Kaori. One day, he saw Homura's exam paper and noticed that Homura wrote "I like you, sensei" at the right end corner of it. Will he accept Homura's confession? (Source: M-U) Side Story: Unbreakable Bones: The side story is of two childhood friends who meet again after 14 years. One is a policeman now, and the other is an ex-delinquent who is working at a ramen store. (M-U)
