Man, what a story. This is the peak in terms of romance story that I've been craving. A romance that, at the beginning of the story, both ML and FL are already together, and the plot tells the story of how they kept their relationship going. It is the best among all romance stories that I have read. I love it! How did I find this? Webtoon. Believe it or not, Webtoon did something horrible that made me mad about their marketing, and it involves this Webtoon. Now, I'm not saying they are necessarily in the wrong when this marketing happens. I mean, I don't think the main branchof Webtoon knew how Webtoon Indonesian marketed this series, but just letting you know it was bad. But basically, that horrible marketing led me to reading the series, which I am still furious about because they did a horrible marketing job with this good series. Appealing (Why did I get into the manhwa/webtoon?) That marketing! You know what, let me just give the gist of why they did a bad marketing. There was this series from Webtoon Indonesia called Pasutri Gaje, and the series was on hiatus because the author had stage 4 kidney failure. It would take her three years to finally come back to finish the story, but in between those times, Webtoon, for some reason, uses the main ML of that series to promote this series' ML. Like, what the f*ck were they thinking? They tried to drive the fandom away from that series to another series that was not even Pasutri Gaje's author's works. It was no wonder that only a few Indonesian fans came back to check the series when the author announced a comeback. It is the most abysmal marketing ever. I hate it! Anyway, because of this, I was like, "How is this series actually like? Why is Webtoon Indonesia's team glazing the main ML and comparing it to Pasutri Gaje's ML?" Platform Webtoon. And I think that's it. I don't think this has been published anywhere else than in this app. The review; Story/plot Two childhood friends met again after years, havingn't seen each other. Then *BANG*! Right there and then, they got married. The story is told about their relationship, of how they are trying to understand each other. Although yes they were childhood friends, they still feel distance. That distance is the main key to this story of how they are trying to close that gap. Honestly, this story has many layers to it, especially with Han Jiah's, the main FL, circle throughout her lifetime before she met with Jin Micheol, the main ML, again. Illustration Man, every single damn woman in this Webtoon. I... UWAAAAOOOOOOO Why are they so gorgeous, man? This might be the only Webtoon that I have had many screenshots of. Dear lord, I've just checked. It was well over 100 screenshots. It's just that beautiful. Actually, I lied. I also have Mincheol among those women's screenshots. π€£ Characters Well written. I had no idea this story had deep arcs and silly arcs. I had a lot of fun reading those. Heck, even the side characters are fun to read. Like, wth? The series had this weird way to introduce characters, and it was very interesting how the author did it. They keep making me feel like, "AH! The Antagonist!" to "Wait, hold up! They might be just another based character that goes along with Mincheol or Jiah." Basically, an interesting roster of characters. Proportions of the manga There is nothing to be said here, so Two Thumbs Up. The conclusion; The good I'm glad I checked this series out. Very fun to read. The bad I am still furious Indonesian branch of Webtoon promotes this series very badly. Graditude Thanks, Webtoon, for providing this series semi-free on your app on every different server. (I read it on Indonesia's server) Overall 9/10 One of the best romance stories from Korea! Keep it coming!
Han Jia, a 32-year-old freelancer currently without a job, is fed up with her current situation, being constantly harassed by her parents over getting married and moving out. One day, an agitated Jia stumbles upon her childhood friend Jin Mincheol, who is in a similar predicament. While catching up with each other, Jia abruptly blurts out that she and Mincheol should get married! To her surprise, he accepts her proposal, and the two start living as a married couple. However, since Jia and Mincheol are both eccentric in their own ways, the newlyweds often disagree, learning new things about each other in the process. As their relationship deepens, the awkwardness begins to fade away, and the couple starts to see that they are maybe meant to be for each other. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
