A charming story of friendship with hints of mystery that's a short, but nicely wholesome read. Story (8/10): Despite the short length, the story makes sure to hit all it's points without making anything feeling shorthanded. To balance the elements of bullying, there are several small but meaningful moments of expressing friendship that create warm & fuzzy feelings throughout the story. Art (9/10): One of the most striking features of the story, which is ironic considering it has a somewhat muted color palette. Despite that the style still has a great deal of color that gives off the vibes of a small niche cafe or the backdropto some lofi hip-hop. Heck some of the artwork is makes for a great wallpaper for your phone. It's strikingly simple & mellow in the best way possible. Character (7/10): The characters are defined enough, but may come off as basic to some readers. I would argue that if the story was longer then the 5 or so recurring characters could have more development, but in the end it might not add that much so it may not be worth the change. Enjoyment (8/10): So many times, I've started a webcomic only to have it last forever and not being able to keep up or stop without any resolution. Having a something that I could read entirely, in one setting, and with an admittingly open but still proper ending was nice for once. The platonic fluff! The simple, but still relatable scenerios! It keep it short and sweet (much like this story), this was a wholesome quick read that everyone should have in either their digital or physical library.
Lee Sori, a polite and righteous girl, attends a middle school plagued with bullying. Enraged by the tragic effects it has had on her friend Kim Julie, she decides to take a stand against the bullying. Unfortunately, this only leads the bullies to switch their target to Sori. Believing a new environment would rid her of the hopeless situation, Sori returns to the city she used to live in and transfers schools. However, the traumatizing experiences that constantly haunt Sori's memory cause her to alienate herself from everyone else. Just as the grim reality of Sori's circumstances begin to set in, she discovers a mysterious letter taped under her desk. While the contents of the letter intrigue her, they only lead her to another letter. Now following a seemingly endless trail of messages, Sori is on a scavenger hunt to find the true purpose of these letters and the anonymous person behind it all. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
A beautiful story about friends, doesn't matter how short it is. You can really be drown in this beautiful story, and it can make your tears shed from happiness at the end. It's world is very dream-like and chill. Art style is pretty good and there's nothing wrong with it. Everything looks beautiful and awesome. All three main characters are cute and cool, especially Sori, she really is cute and kind. They go through a lot of adventure for finding all the letters. And all the other characters like Janitor Sunny are fine except for those bullies in Sori's previous school. :) Personally i enjoyed it and itmade me feel awesome after the ending. I highly recommend it to everyone. It's short but it's pretty good. My overall rating: 7/10
Now just to give people a gentle reminder, this isn't romance, it's more of a friendship based story and it is still a pretty nice quick read for 10 chapters. Although I will say that the ending had given my heart a "Omigosh this is just so warming" moment. Man I want people like Yeon and the rest of them to be my buds if I was back at school again lol. I like the fact it deals with bullying because I'm sure many of us who have experienced bullying while in schools can relate to what Sori goes through. Yeah read this 10 chapter manhwa folkson webtoon if you feel like a quickie read! Read 5th of July 2020
This was such a lovely read. This afternoon I was looking for something to read and came across this on the off chance because it was rated well, and it was short. I’m rather glad I read it because it was really satisfying. Due to it only having a limited number of chapters, you only get to know a few characters and a few places, and the story really focuses well on this. There’s not a moment where your overwhelmed with information or your left wondering what’s going on. Your just in the thick of the story. It centres around familiar topics which are exploredsensitively and thoughtfully which force you into the story and the world. Sometimes I find manga attempt to use these subjects and fall short because it comes across as too much or is just there to pull on your heart strings. In the case of Your Letter sure it’s there but it’s not overbearing. It doesn’t centre around it; it just builds off it. Loved the artwork. Sometimes when I read Webtoon I just sit there and admire whole strips and I found myself doing that often with this series. I loved the colour palette and the line work was excellent. All in all, it was a satisfying read from start to finish as I mentioned above. The fact that it only boasts 10 chapters shouldn’t be underestimated because each chapter is thoughtful and purposeful which makes for a well-rounded read. Chapter one got me hooked and the last chapter made me feel complete. Well worth the read if you were in a similar situation to mine.
A short wholesome story with beautiful artwork. The storytelling and artwork gave me a lot of Studio Ghibli vibes. Loved it. Though it was only ten episodes long, it has some of the most beautifully designed panels I’ve ever seen in a webcomic. Not only that, but the story is heartwarming. This webtoon made me shed happy tears😭 An emotional roller-coaster that churns your heart with awe and despair, nostalgia and joy and a strange sort of longing that rarely gets talked about (because we're obsessed with romance). Not to trash romance, but I won't lie that it's exceedingly refreshing to see a story that takes adifferent turn. All in all, I absolutely loved it. Glad l read this one🤩
