This is about Meiko's daily life. It's a spin-off. It doesn't need a specific reason for it to exist. Meiko being a very enjoyable character to watch is reason more than enough for that. (I am saying it like that because I did see people questioning why does this manga even exists). --- So, expect here funny situations involving Meiko, and of course the ecchi and fanservice makes justice to the main series. You'll also be able to see a kind and cute side of Meiko ^.^ something that is not presented in the main series.Meiko aside, other characters appear just occasionally. This barely has dialogues, so itΒ΄s mainly about enjoying the drawing. ---- I enjoyed this. It was a pleasant "read". I wish it had more.
The storyline of the manga follows the daily exertions of Meiko's school life from the main continuity of the Prison School series, focusing on Meiko's senior high-school year at Hachimitsu Academy. (Source: Prison School Wikia)
I like how it is a "silent" manga, meaning it has no dialogue and easy to read based on the visual storytelling. This meant that this was an easy purchase from a used manga shop in the original Japanese tankobon release, which I like because Japan produces the best books. As for the story, funny slice of life stories, each chapter an episodic one and done. Trigger warning for those who don't like their ecchi, because it serves a lot that. Recommended for those looking for a quick and light read without any commitment to a long running story. Though this is a Prison School spinoff, you don't need to read the main work to enjoy this. This can stand on its own merits.
