Boring political drama mixed with boring comedy. Completely lost interest half way through. Seven obnoxious kids from earth have to teach the ignorant people of another world how to trade stocks... The premise for this manga is so absurd you just can't take it seriously. It wants to be this epic world building isakei, but nothing is taken seriously and all the characters are unlikable. It's chapter after chapter of smug condescending children explaining how the economy works while also jokingly making lazer cannons and using cell phones. I honestly have no idea what the author was thinking. If you want fun isekai world buildingjust read "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime."
Seven Japanese high school prodigies have taken the world by storm, exercising their mind-blowing abilities in everything from politics to entertainment. But when their plane crashes one day, these geniuses awaken to find themselves in a different realm-one that's home to magic and beast folk! While such strange new surroundings might throw an average person for a loop, these prodigies take their situation in stride... and then some! With the greatest minds and talents known to Earth, this dream team is about to turn the other world on its head! (Source: Yen Press)
Seven genius high schoolers get isekai'd into a new world. A brutalist world and to pay back the kind people who saved them. They have to institute reforms and that spirals up and up. I liked the story. I think the manga does a good job with such a massive main cast. That said of the seven prodigies I'd say over half are utilized but not all. We have a soldier, a doctor, a magician, an inventor, a merchant, a politician, and a ninja. Alone any one of them would be interesting. Parallel World Pharmacy, Dr. Stone, they all do the same thing but focuson one type. But Akatsuki for instance doesn't really do much. Using him as the basis of religion is interesting but aside from making change palatable there's nothing there. He could have been an expert in history and myth as part of his skillset and known how to use religious mythos to engender the types of chances they want. Instead they use him to float. In another isekai Merchant would be amazing to watch. Heck there's probably other isekais with smart financiers. Depending on your feelings bout fanservice. The explicit content here is rather surprising. Because it never seems to be coherant. just randomly every volume it's bathtime then back to the main story. It's distracting imo. It's a shame it got stopped early. In spite of the few issues it's was overall interesting.
