Finally, i can finish this mangaaaa, wooo. So, when i first read the first chapter of this manga, it really captures my heart and makes me want to read more chapters. Unfortunately, the only chapter available in english is the first chapter, so i can't read it anymore. Thankgod when i goes to bookstore in my country i found an Indonesian translated one, and i bought it finally. So, just wanna tell you that this book is not available in english if u wanna read it online. Now, let's start the review. Like i said before, the first chapter is so cute and i lovethe character, that's why i continue to read this manga till the end. The story also pretty ok although it just a cliche shoujo manga and the only different thing (not so different tbh) is the time travel part. But, still i like it since the drama keeps going on till the very end of this manga and that's what i need the most from shoujo manga. The art is good for me. Every character was drawn beautifully except for kushida (she is ugly and annoying for me). The proportion of each character also great, no one looks like an elementary school student and no one is too old. So, for the art i can say it is above average. The character was okay for me. Actually i kinda like the MC at first, but towards the end, she became so annoying and act like a crazy person because she is too obsessed with her future. Thankgod, at the end she grow and it makes her an okay character. Both the male character were okay and cute. The seccond girl, kushida, is kinda annoying for me since she act like a hypocryte. This girl act just like adachi from heroine shikakku, but adachi's annoying level is way up there in a different level. The character is not so memorable and adorable, all of them is okay for me. And there is this one useless character called arothy. But, i love how the author develop the character at the end of the story and their growth is just so great to read. I really enjoy reading this manga and finished it in 3 days. Everytime i commit to only read 1 or 2 chapter i ended up reading the whole volume since it is so fun. Overall i think this manga is pretty good and i recommend it for you who read tons of shoujo manga just like me. For new shoujo manga fan, i think u can read this one, but there are a lot more great choices out there (if u need any just massage me). The best part in this manga is definitely the ending, i think this manga has one of the best ending of all shoujo i have ever read. The character developemnt also so good. I'm gonna give it an 8 if only she can make a more memorable character :)
Kayo is a high school girl who is one day suddenly visited by her future 30-year-old self. Her future self begins to tell her that even at her age, she is still unmarried, and Shinnosuke, her childhood friend who she has a crush on, is already married to another woman. She realizes that she has to make Shinnosuke fall for him now to avert the worst future possibility. (Source: ANN)
Konna Mirai wa Kiitenai!! is, without a doubt, one of the most hilarious manga I've read in a long time. It has the unique ability to tell an interesting story while at the same time not taking itself too seriously, which is very refreshing in the shoujo. The plot tells us the life of Kayo, a 17-year-old girl who, suddenly, receives a visit from her future self who says that she will be single, alone, and a virgin at 30... unless she falls in love with her childhood friend: Shinnosuke. I think this plot could be considered the comedic version of Orange. Since they have somewhat similarelements, but with a different execution (Orange is tragedy, while Konna Mirai wa Kiitenai!! is comedy) Although this story received criticism due to volume number 5, I have to say that those criticisms seem absurd to me. Kayo lives in constant stress (remember, she's only 17 years old) and taking into account that she receives orders from her future self in the middle of her academic life... let's admit it, if we were her we would also explode. Although that doesn't take away from the fact that she tries to be a better person. This manga is very worthwhile and I think it's cruelly underrated. It's a short, enjoyable and very funny read, perfect to read in an afternoon. It won't be the epitome of romantic comedies, but I think it's above average. Very good manga, I invite everyone to read it.
