Humor based on glowing underwear and the like is absent here. The jokes are primarily about misunderstandings between people. That is, the Yakuza say something outrageous about their tough lives, about the brutality, about murders, about poor conditions of life. The people around them interpret it completely differently, turn everything upside down, and a comical situation arises. There are a couple of running jokes that are repeated, but each time they are developed and made even more absurd, and sometimes you don't expect the direction they take. It's great that the author can introduce something and then skillfully juggle it without overdoing it. The closestcomparison in terms of humor is probably Prison School, just without the lewd content. There is a certain overarching plot, and it's even interesting to follow. The work is quite short; you can read it in a day. It's good that the author ended the manga in time, because a couple more volumes and it would have become extremely tiresome. Why? Because there aren't that many characters; it's a very intimate manga. The author works with few characters, develops them; if there were more, it would have to be something more substantial, but as it is, it's a typical sitcom. It's dirty, stupid humor, and it's an easy read. I enjoyed it. Each chapter revolves around a joke. A chapter is short: they play out a situation and move on... Well, and then they remember it a dozen chapters later. I won't recommend it, because humor is subjective. The manga received an anime adaptation and a live-action drama. I haven't watched them, but I think it's not the most suitable format for this manga. Because an episode lasts 24 minutes, while the chapters are short and self-contained... This means an episode would have an overabundance of content, or it would be stretched out very thin... It seems questionable to watch; it's better to read, but the choice is yours.
