Kyuusekai no Majo

This is a one-shot a world where mages from another world have once build a moon and destroyed the civilization with it. Therefore all mages must be killed. When a young girl named Mari is suddenly transported into this world, and is to be killed like all the oher mages, we find out that not everything is as it seems. While the story is at first glance rather dark (there being people killed and everything), the manga retains a somewhat lighthearted tone, which I liked. Even though there was only one chapter, I was rather invested in finding out more about the world and the charaters. Theconcept is really interesting, I enjoyed the chapter a great deal. Too bad, it wasn't serialized.
