This is a spoiler free review, even though there isn't really anything to spoil, LOL. This is easily one of the funniest manga I've read, by far. Obviously, humor is subjective and some readers may or may not agree with me, but personally I enjoyed it. It's also a great "baby's first manga" to get some people into reading manga. (Since, of course, its a one shot manga, and it's pretty funny)

Nowadays with Japan pumping up generic harem manga as if there's no tomorrow, in a possible scenario, when our rookie mangaka guy Kataoka-sensei was reading something like Rosario to Vampire, he saw a perfect once in a lifetime chance and said "What if the main guy was gay?" By gay, I don't mean uninterested in having sexual intercourse with the opposite sex like the majority of harem mc's, but literally gay, homosexual. Add hilarious facial expressions and you get this nice little one shot that is just great. There isn't much to review, and the name perfectly summarizes what the plot is about. "I'm the Protagonistof a Harem Manga, but I'm Gay so My Life Sucks" Yep, you guessed it right, it is about the daily life of a gay mc of a harem manga and his encounters with usual romcom situations you can only see in anime and manga. There isn't much of a story, it is a sloppy written satire of romantic comedy genre with the focus of humor. Speaking of humor, it is amazing. If this guy was in OreImo, the title would've been "My little sister really isn't that cute." Some girl is making advances to our guy, but he is gay so he makes up hilarious excuses. Repeat. If you at least seen a couple of cliche harem anime/manga, what are you waiting for, read it!

Touge Yuugiri is a chick magnet. This one-shot is just perfect! These days there are countless harem Manga and Anime out there and either you hate them or you love them, however that doesn't matter here because this manga just went against it all and made a sort of parody of a harem in just 1 chapter! It's a harem yes, but the main character is GAY and I would really like to see this become the new "hit" in the anime/manga community and perhaps see some anime with this kind of genre *wink*. It is really more enjoyable to watch harem this way since you don't have the usual dense MCwho can't even get the slightest hint.. PLEASE make this kind of genre popular, would be hillarious to watch/read!

Story: 8 There isn't really much of a story, but it's exactly what the manga says in the label. It's pretty funny, seeing the poor protagonist go through the harem tropes and not only realise it, but hate it. Art: 3 Quite poor, though it may be parodying as well. Many harems have similar character designs, that are pretty forgetful. This is no exception. Character: 5Can't really build up the characters in a single one-shot, and the main character isn't the best seeing as he only has a few traits. Enjoyment: 9 Loved it. As someone who generally does not like harems, this is rather great in displaying the common occurrences and flipping them to comical effect. Overall: 7

This one-shot is actually kinda good and I REALLY WANT MORE. The main character was so relatable, like what i mean relatable is that im also annoyed at harem trope, I love the story of this gay character I want to see more of him and I want him to get the Guy that he really loves. I love how he’s so savage at the girl tropes in this story. Again, why is this a oneshot? THIS SHOULD BE A SERIES😩😭The art may be not that appealing but it adds much more life to the comedy this story is giving. And yes, I want more, I want the mangaka to make this as a series.
