From the writer of Jitsu wa Watashi wa comes the story of invisible men. The author of this short story has proven himself to be able to give the viewers what the scene requires by his utilization of the expressions of the characters presented in the manga. Because the manga is only 8 chapters long, you can probably read it in an hour or less. With that said, the author was capable of bringing development to the characters excellently because of the simple backstory that needs not be lengthened. It might be called realistic as well for that matter. The flow of the manga itselfcan keep the viewers hooked until the very end. The ending of the story showcased the author's technique in resolving the conflict, explaining the reason for the problems, and providing satisfaction to its viewers. The art has a different design from Jitsu wa Watashi wa. It doesn't have the incredible detail the author gives in the reaction faces there, but it's enough to give us viewers the emotion within the story. It is highly enjoyable and i recommend it.

Synopsis

Shinji Saitou is a prankster who hates living on the island of Iejima. It's boring, there's nothing to do, and he would rather be free from his average, everyday life. After an incident results in him punching a classmate, he leaves school and receives a text saying that all his troubles will be fixed if he replies to the message, allowing him to become an "invisible man." Thinking that it can't possibly be true, he replies and perceives no changes to himself. However, the next day, the classmate he fought has forgotten that Shinji was the culprit. It is then that a mysterious girl named Miki appears before him—who only he can see—introducing herself as an invisible woman and admits that she was responsible for the text he received. She reveals that he will fade from everyone's memories and they will be unable to see him, allowing him to live a truly free life. But when even his best friend, Kana Sodegi, begins to forget him, Shinji must find a way to fix his mistake, in order to reunite with the one he cares for most. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
