Fuwatto Madoka

Fuwatto Madoka, another of the multiple 4koma spin-offs of madoka magica. The premise of this one is pretty simple, Homura is transported to yet another timeline and in this one, every character is acting a bit childish/stupid. It is of course another comedic centered spin-off but I personally found it to be a bit less interesting than the other ones I've read. The entire manga relies on that concept of the quintet acting a bit cute and stupid in a gag comedy format. It is funny but with nothing really interesting in it. Outside of a few gags, it doesn't really use the universe andconcept of Madoka Magica, the different situations feels like the kind of stuff you could find in any other 4koma/gag manga, I feel like the manga could have been a nice parody but it doesn't really lean into that type of comedy as much as it could. The drawing is okay, the chara-design fits the cute aesthetic of the manga and even if the manga feels kinda empty when it comes to the drawing, it's decent enough for a 4koma that doesn't take itself too seriously. When it comes to those types of Pmmm spin-offs, Fuwatto is definitely not the most interesting one, it doesn't do anything bad or anything good, it manages to be entertaining but is also kinda boring with nothing unique happening in it.
