This manga is pretty dark and fast-paced, it also has a bit of yuri which is a nice bonus. However, it was a little too fast and I could never really get into it. Like I have seen a lot of stories similar to this one; basically a story which showcases the dark side of human beings especially through some kind of "game" is pretty common. That's not a criticism, however, the problem here for me is that this manga does not separate itself from any other manga that has similar ideas. The only unique aspect as far as I can tell is thatthere is some yuri action. In general I like brutal stuff, where a death can occur anytime, and you never know who is gonna die, even a main character can just randomly die. I think that's really fun, and I really was not sure if even the MC was gonna make it out of the game alive. However, a death of any character in a story is not gonna be impactful if there was no attachment to the characters in the first place. The problem with a lot of the character deaths is that there was never a backstory or any kind of information about anyone. Like this person gets stabbed randomly, and then they say something that is supposed to be emotional/meaningful as their last words but like I don't even care because who the frick even are you? I've known you for about a solid 3 panels im not gonna feel any emotion from your dying monologue. Basically i'm saying this manga was TOO fast paced for its own good. There was never anytime to get to know all the characters and thus their deaths / surviving meant very little on an emotional level. Art was decent. I didn't find any of the characters interesting The story was not unique. I know this review is terriblely written but hopefully this provides some sort of insight into this manga. Its really short so pick it up if you want something fast .
A mysterious transfer student arrives to the third year, class C for Hanazono Girl's Middle School. Akane is a plain and simple girl who was tired of her over bearing Friends, and silently thinks that it is ok for the world to be destroyed. However, all the girls of the class wake up to find themselves in a desolated school, with countdown timers. Every girl is tied to another one, and this pair must survive a 7 day Battle Royal. As it turns out, Akane is tied down to the mysterious transfer student. Friendships crumbles, hopes are lost and sanity is tested as the game starts of with a bang! (Source: MU)
This is a bad manga. But is it good bad? Eh, I think so. The pacing is so fast some characters only get 3 Panels before dying, and sometimes there are up to 3 gamechanging plot twists in one single chapter. It is very hard to follow, but also very rewarding in a weird sense. Trying to figure out, which character is who and why they do what they do is stupidly difficult some of the times, but it could be worse. Even though I rate it a 1, I still think that you should read it, if you enjoy shaking your head at weird plot developmentsand/or are very thirsty for yuri romance. Though there are better manga for both of those cathegories: The freind-eater game, and Bloom into you. If you like those stories you will like this one to. Have a nice day :)
