Tired of lovesick girls trying to soften cold-hearted bishies? Then I believe this manga is a nice recommendation. A girl that has an unusually higher flexibility than normal people goes through a normal morning in school, until a guy with men in black takes over the classroom looking for her, the guy that seems to be their leader spots her and says 3 forceful yet unexpected words.... "Be My Bride" The story is a bit different from those cliche shoujo plots, the girl was not the first one that fell head over hills for the guy but the other way around. The relationship was too easilyachieved, no bumpy journey for the protagonist, thus giving of dissatisfaction to the reader. But to those who wants easy going relationships like those, then this manga is the best for you. It's quite short, expected from an easily achieved relationship but, cute. I liked Tachibana Ran, a likable billionaire indeed, a bishie to top it off. Rika is a bit worthy to have such person court a middle classed girl like her. A nice couple. To summarize it for you, it was a fun read though the ending might confuse you a bit and will leave countless questions stuck in your head, but it's worth it.
Even though her body has unusual ability, Kunimi Riko is still (trying to be) a normal high school girl. One day, a guy suddenly came to see her. He's Tachibana Ran, the heir of the world leading super millionaire Tachibana family! A high tension romance between Ran, who suddenly proposed, and Riko, who turned him down. i plan to read this manga when i saw a profile pic of one of my friends here in MAL. her pic is this manga, Hana ni Arashi. im always attracted to pretty arst thats why i asked her what manga that is. story: its about a girl named Riko who only wanted to live a normal live. she was once rejected by the guy she liked for the reason:"you're not ordinary." Riko was given a flexible ability that makes her not ordinary compared to other girls. from that day on, she decided to live a normal life and her goal is to have a normal relationship. thenwithout knowing, a guy named Ran, who was a son of a billionaire asked to make her and even transferred to her school. that is the beginning of a cute, funny and hilarious love story of both of them.:D -if you really want to know what happens next you must definitely read it! art: i love the art. takagi-sensei's art is pretty good. i love her style.:D eventhough its not so beautiful like others still it cannot be ignored.^^ character: a perfect 10! the characters are pretty well done! Riko is not an easy to get girl and have a strong character. and Ran is a guy who is too proud of himself but still willing to do impossible things for Riko! enjoyment: i really enjoy this really this series! its really funny how the main characters react and show their skills!:D and every page of it makes you want to read it more and more! overall: it worth for a perfect 10! if you want to read a very cute and different manga where romance with hilarious comedy can be seen! you MUST read this!
Hana ni Arashi; there are so many things right and wrong with it. Story: The story itself would be a 7. To be truthful, there are many mangas that have the same plot as this one; a rich, beautiful man is in love with a poor, average girl. It's a very mediocre plot. But the reason I gave the story a 7 is because there are many twists and turns that I would have never expected. Nevertheless, it was an overly-used plot with bits of excitement here and there. Art: The art was an 8. I loved the art, and it was pretty much the onlything that had me motivated to read this manga. There's not much left to say about it. Character: Character development would be a fair 6. A lot of the characters had the same attitude and personality; leading a lot of them to fall for the protagonist. Oh, did I mention that almost half of the characters were assassins or could jump from building to building? Enjoyment: As embarrassed as I already am, the enjoyment for me was an 8. I laughed throughout the chapters, and I even cried being the soft marshmallow I am. The plot was as clichΓ© as Twilight, but nevertheless, I really enjoyed it. Overall: Overall, Hana ni Arashi was a 7 for me. Many users would rate this manga a 9 or 10, but I am a rather harsh marker. So to speak, any shoujo fans would really enjoy Hana ni Arashi.
Hana ni Arashi is a wild ride about a super strong girl and her breezy billionaire lover. It's Riko's goal in life to be ordinary, but Ran's not having that! Story: The basis of Riko's ordinary life gets encumbered by Ran's crazy life daily. Whatever wacky hijinks of the chapter usually revolves around two plots: 1. Assassin trying to kill/capture Ran 2. Assassin wanting Riko for himself (usually to be his bride). With assassins as the forefront of the story things do get somewhat serious. Large machine/military guns can be pulled out of anyone's pocket at any time though that's mostly done for a humorous effect. SN: The sidestories in Hana ni Arashi are mature and deal with teenage abortion and molestation. Characters: Riko after a bad rejection has dedicated herself to becoming ordinary when she's anything but that. The manga called her extremely flexible, but I think that's a bad translation for "super strong." This chick picked up an entire Christmas tree by herself! I liked how when it wasn't needed for the plot (this is shoujo y'know) she saved herself. She did not regularly play the damsel in distress. Riko even had to save Ran once and issue out a rescue mission. Not much of her personality was shown, but she seemed to be stoic until Ran made her open up. Ran I think is my favorite character. He's an eccentric, billionaire bad boy with too many guns and too much fun. He falls in love with Riko at first sight and TELLS her at gunpoint she will be his bride. Although, being associated with him endangers her life he can't stay away due to liking her so much. Instead, he places tracking devices on her. Ran is just unorthodox like that. He's a clingy teenager who is used to being spoiled. There could have been some hidden development in his character if we had gotten to see his mother. Unfortunately, the mangaka couldn't squeeze that in. All in all Ran's a goofball! Baldy was a close second for my favorite. He had the best one-liners. Riko's classmates as a whole were cool. I loved how when an assassin attacked the school these idiots retaliated by throwing paper balls and WON. Tachibana was confusing. I could never figure him out was he good, bad, or crazy? I guess he stuck true to most assassins their allegiance is to the highest payer. Relationship: The relationship was rushed. It went from Ran annoying Riko to marry him to Riko deciding he wasn't so bad to her soulmate. I guess maybe it was fate that they were together. Riko never said "I love you" but it was shown in her actions. Art: I liked the art. Most of the characters were plain in appearance (Read: Riko and Baldy), but Ran and his father were gorgeous! They knew they had to be the eye candy with the way everyone else looked. The only female assassin had the weirdest breasts, whenever she was in motion her side boob would stay static no matter what. I don't know if the mangaka was hinting her breast were fake or not, but it was funny. Also, I like how often Riko's eye-ware changed and the covers to the manga were excellent. Overall: In conclusion, I wish the ending could have been more meaningful. Hana no Arashi was a mostly entertaining story though I got bored into the middle chapters. This should be a fun try for anyone looking for a short read.
I thought this manga was good. It was definetly not one of my favorite...for some reasons I always kept waiting for something to happen. I just the romance in it was some what dry that didn't make it likable enough. It was also weird because we didn't have enough time to fall in love with the characters to be happy when the two got together....I was more like "oh so i know nothing about yu two...um great now yu two are dating...cool" In longer mangas yu are able to get used to all the characters and be excited when they start dating another character youjust love (^-^) hehe Also i guess it was kinda dry cuz it was this author's first series so i bet she got better later on :D read ittttt :D
