Considering the score of my review compared to others you might think I'm just being hateful, that is not the case. The ending of this manga was so absurd that I had to leave a review. I spent a good amount of time reading this to only be majorly disappointed. It's the first time I've seen such a lack of care for a story from an author. I do not ever recommended reading this it's a waste of time and the second half and especially the ending are very poorly written. The ending makes no sense, many plot points are left unaddressed and open, andthe bulk of the second half basically goes off the rails and (spoiler but important to know if you plan to read) the FL developed feeling for someone else. the female lead who I loved in the beginning is now one of the characters I hate the most, how could you do that to someone that's just awful. The story starts off amazing, I totally loved it. It was a more serious romance with a good level of emotional depth, that is... Until it all went to s**t. Also the info is wrong, there's 73 chapters total not 52. SPOILERS BE WARNED Everything was great until the FL falls in love with the father, like...???? Wtf... What was the author thinking. How are you going to maintain a healthy relationship between your characters if your FL is in love with her bfs dad? How are you going to redeem her? You really cant, I mean it would be a Permentantly awkward relationship between the three of them, and she would have ruined the relationship between ML and his dad after all that hard work. And I wouldn't blame the bf for leaving her either that's just f****d. And then it gets worse because the ML RUNS AWAY??? Where? To who? For an entire year??? How did he maintain himself? Besides that, the girl never fell out of love with the dad, so how does this move forward? I think the author realised how much they messed up the story and that's why they ended it the way they did. The ending which is him coming back after a year to give her flowers for her graduation, and her saying "we've been technically dating for 700 days" and then they hug and that's it. Trash. Everything is left unresolved: why did he leave, where did he stay, what was he doing, why did he not give her the graduation flowers in person and planned to leave without ever seeing her again, does she still love his dad, does the dad like her, does he know she had feeling for his dad, and how did he feel about them being close? Sooooooo much is left open and unaddressed. Im upset at this horrible writing and lack of attention. Do not recommend reading.
