This manga is really good! It's a shame it never got picked up for publishing outside of Japan! Zero: Kage Miko or in English Fatal Frame: Shadow Priestess is a spin off manga within the Fatal Frame/Project Zero Universe. This is in no shape and form relating to the events before, during, or after the video games. So don't expect Miku, Mio, Mayu, Rei or any protagonists or ghosts from the video games to appear in this manga. This manga is really good and I highly recommend any Fatal Frame/Project Zero fan to read this! Especially if you're suffering from withdraw with the lack of FatalFrame games being localized... It has the same lore building settings as the games, and the artwork is incredible being that there are really creepy and well draw panels that will send a chill down your spine!! Being a spin off you're going to see some changes to the lore and the functionality of the camera, but the changes aren't so drastic that it's a turn off. The story takes me back to the first game. The character visit a location they're unaware is haunted and they start disappearing. For this case it's a class trip and like Miku from the first game the main character has a natural 6th sense to the paranormal . That's all I'm going to say. Give this manga a shot. If you enjoyed this manga you have to try the games!!!!!! If you're a Fatal Frame/Project Zero fan, then this manga is a must read for you! If you're looking for a good scary manga then I can't recommend this Zero: Kage Miko enough!
College student Sara Washizuki was shown a mysterious film photograph by paranormal photographer Tousei Ryuuzaki. In it was captured something she had left sealed away with her memories of a particular incident in her elementary school days... Based on the hit video game "Fatal Frame." (Source: Manga Box)
