I was surprised when I saw that the end has come, for three volumes, this manga made me laugh and smile. I like the manga. The story is simple, but it was entertaining. For those who want to have a break on an MC who is such a beauty and firm, and readers who really want an entertainment, this is recommended. I would say the art is very good, because when the mangaka wants to show a funny scene, the art becomes really funny and when the MC (Hinata) becomes serious she looks like her father. (For others who do not know) There is also amanga between her father and mother when both are still in high school. And it was also a funny one! The transition of the development between the characters is very good and one thing I admired on the character of Hinata in the story is her straightforwardness that gives me feeling that the mangaka is also a straightforward person, because the way the mangaka (Seino Shizuru) creates the storyline gives me a direct hit and run to the point. There are no upside downs and the characters face the consequences of their acts immediately made me like the story. I'm just sad that this ends for three volumes. It is recommended for those who want to be entertained.
Hirata Mihane has a scary face and isn't ladylike at all. In fact, she lets her temper get the better of her and often lets out small bursts of violent behaviour—even though she doesn't mean to. Because of this, the entire school calls her a "Satsujinki" (murderous monster). Even so, she's in love with the kind and popular Touma-kun, who doesn't mind the way she looks and is always nice to her. But... will Touma ever see her as a love interest? (Source: Dazzling Scans)
Seishun otome banchou became one of those mangas that really helped me discover what I like and it was one of the first ones where I just enjoyed the entire thing. The story is a concept that has obviously been used before. It isn't common but I've seen it in other mangas, except, no manga I have read executed it as well as this. The comedy is there, the uniqueness is there, it's heavily influenced by the main character in how the story thrives so I'll talk about that later. I really enjoy shoujo manga in general and the way they made it so itwasn't cliche or excessive was great. Only problem might've been the way it flows, the comedy dismissed a conflict between characters that i would've liked to see resolved more in depth but it's all good. The art was great, adjusted to funny tones, serious tones, and it was detailed nicely. There's a lot of expression and definitely gets the atmospheres right. The characters were probably the strongest part about this. The main character is strong, very likable and funny to watch. I haven't seen any character like her yet and I really like how she knows what she needs to change and what she doesn't. The love interest helps her with that as he isn't as dynamic but still interesting in ways. He looks cool but still cant match up to the MC lol. He likes her the way she is and is mostly unproblematic. The characters definitely added the flare. I enjoyed this VERY much just because it was so funny and made me instantly like the characters. Each chapter was enjoyable and I really wish it was longer. Overall this manga is definitely worth it if you like strong leads in shoujo manga that you normally wouldnt see. It's short so if you just want something quick and funny, read it. I feel like this manga really depends on your preference but for me it was basically everything i wanted.
I was a bit skeptic about this because it had a score of 7 but did not expect that this would be so freaking funny and good and great. Characters are very un-cliche and unpredictable and very opposite of their character design and supposed stereotype which makes it A+ better than most that I have read. The humor in this isn't forced and when some parts is cringey in a way it really affects you but damn the humor is just 10! lol like literal lol I laugh loudly every time a funny scene comes up and their romance wasn't forced, that despite it being 13chapters only you can really feel the gradual change of the development. Overall it is really good and really deserved more than the score of 7, because did I mention on how it broke stereotypes because that what was really got me, especially in the last part when then were playing hide and seek and Hirata was all cool looking and Touma was blushing damn that kept me hooked and made me want more of what their relationship would be like. I would want a follow up but I kinda like on how it ended.
This manga is seriously great. It's been so long since I read a funny one, and to think that after reading so many mangas, that I had seen all the funny and weird jokes, but this one made me rethink of it. funny that it is the same manga artist as Power, which I read years ago. But I am not satisfied, so I hope to see more. especially Hirata XD Story: 8 As they said in the manga a couple times, that it's like ' the beast and the beauty, but the other way around'. I just loved it how the situations escalate. How the femalecharacter goes on a rampage and is seen under the spotlights by the male character as a cool person. That's when he starts developing feelings for her, pure under the influence of joy like a box full of surprises. Art: 9 I just loved it. Character: 8 female character; who has the genes of her parents making her a monster. she has good intentions with a scary face, good thing that she is straightforward and manly. male character; wasn't really special, but the way he saw her and fell for her made him interesting. Guess he likes being a princess. XD Enjoyment: The thing I enjoyed the most is that everything escalating so fast with so many funny moments. Just mainly focuses on the male and the female character and no pointless extra character appearance. Like making matters bigger where the story drags on and on.
