Simply fantastic, can be influenced by my adoration of Mavis, but I liked much of the story with her as protagonist, Mavis is a character that is hard not to sympathize, I thought I would tell to the end the story of Mavis, but even being up the creation of the guild was actually really 13 chapters that I liked more than any major, ok some will say I'm exaggerating, but there is no words to describe how this sleeve is perfect, a summary fast it: mavis child, mavis crying, mavis happy, sad mavis, mavis in the bath, using magic mavis, mavis almost dying, so... are many mavis. Mavis is the best waifu!
This is one the proof that fairy tail's writer could write better stories. This side story was well written enjoyable than the main series. The story focuses on the backstory of Mavis and how fairy tail come into existence. It also shows Hades when he was a good guy, Makarov’s father, etc. It also unfolds that Mavis and Zeref relationship. And how she got powerful, what happened to her. I really enjoyed this. I would definitely recommend everyone who has read fairy tail. I really enjoyed this. I would definitely recommend everyone who has read fairy tail. It is better than the main series. It proves hiro can write goodstories. I know this is just a really small review.
Long before she would found Fairy Tail, first master Mavis Vermillion is left under the care of the Red Lizard guild. Abused and belittled at every opportunity, she is forced to complete difficult chores. Despite this horrific treatment, Mavis refuses to cry, for if she did, she would not be able to meet the fairies. However, her life of servitude comes to an abrupt end when the Blue Skull guild raids her home, leaving only Mavis and the guild master's daughter, Zera, alive. For many years, Mavis and Zera live alone, taking care of each other. But this all changes when a band of treasure hunters comes to the island in search of the Tenrou Jade—a precious gem that is sacred to the island. With the arrival of new faces, her life begins to change again. Mavis has never stopped wishing to meet the fairies, and now she may finally have the chance to find them. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
Fairy Tail Zero is honestly such an improvement on the main series, it's crazy to see how well Mashima Hiro can actually write. Although FT has a special place in my heart, it's mostly just annoying plotline after annoying plotline, with the actually good ones being overshadowed by the overbearing amount of ecchi. There's a lot of problems with FT's storytelling, but the vast majority of them are absent within FT Zero. The characters are fun, the art is beautiful, and the story is downright heartbreaking. Mashima's storytelling really improves in these story stories where he doesn't have the time to load them with boring plotarmour and titties. Hope to see more of this from him in the future. It really was a surprise to find this to be so good considering his two most recent works.
the single volume that explains the birth of the Fairy Tail guild from its first master: Mavis Vermillion!! The girl who lives on Tenro Island with a sad story and with the hope that she will find a fairy one day. Her curiosity meets the desire to search for artifacts and ancient and magical objects from three elements of the caliber of YURI DREYAR, PUREHITO GAEBOLG and WARROD SEQUEN, three treasure hunters who have come to Tenro Island to find the celestial wolf gem. I personally liked seeing the plot device for which Mavis performs the Fairy Law specially taught by Zeref and why shedoesn't grow. The author has scattered the story with clues, for the ending, but I think they are a bit too many, so much so that I got there in three or four chapters, however, a nice ending for a character who from the first appearance I thought "hmm, nice character" hoping who doesn't tear her apart like other characters in the series. Also in this spin-off the strong theme is the family. For the drawing there is nothing to say only because they are personal opinions, for example I like this cartoon style (although I preferred the style of Rave) but if you compare Mashima and another mangaka it is obvious that the style of Mashima cali. The mark I give to the story is 8 while for the drawing it is 7.
