This manga appears rather boring on the first glance but trust me after you read the 1. Volume you want to buy the other four, too. The story seems pretty simple at first: Some girl from the Future trying to make things better. Sounds boring? It does, if that was the only element of it. in the first few chapters you get to see something that can only be called pure romance. but moment after moment you beginn to think: Hmm... there is something else going to happen. and then suddenly starts the action. Unexpectet? when reading the first time: yes. after that thestory develops nicely with smooth changes from action to humour to romance and back to action. The story doesn't seem to forced exept the ending, which even if it was a nice twist came rather unprepared over. Overall it is very interessting and even if the fights do have a very dragonball-ish feel to it one can largly irgnor it. The art is clean and show much love when it comes to details. even things that normaly are only drawn in a round about way were given some time to draw probably and it gives the surrounding a nice feeling. all in all i'm actually very impressed by the art. There is character development, there are flaws, there are changes. Whats there more to say? these characters that make up the main part of story are fleshed out and seem realistic and can be related to easily. Well I enjoyed the manga very much and can only say that if you haven't read it yet you should do so now
Japan in the future has a massive over-population problem. Scientists have traced the root of this problem to one particular individual, Junta Monamari. According to their records, Junta was a "Mega-Playboy" who sired children with over a hundred women. Each one of his sons inherited the Mega-Playboy gene too, so the problem grew exponentially from thereon. Meet Karin Aoi, a "DNA Operator." Karin is sent back to the past with a mission: to alter Junta's DNA and prevent him from ever becoming the Mega-Playboy, thereby eliminating the world's overpopulation problem. Junta's DNA can only be altered by shooting him with a special bullet called DCM which contains the chemical for suppressing the Mega-Playboy DNA. In return, Karin gets a vast sum of money... enough to make all her dreams come true. Will Junta become the playboy he is destined to be, or will his better self prevail? But Karin is falling for the real Junta too... and what of the sweet and kindly Ami who has secretly loved Junta all her life? What will happen to future Japan? (Source: Manganews)
Ok, just to get another view on this manga. I read the first few chapters years ago and was amazed! Now I had the chance to finish reading this manga and I think all the years of waitinig in suspense for a great manga...were a waste of time. The art was great, sensei is known for his great art. The story and characters weren't good imo. I got the impression, that the author took all his favorite moments from Dragon Ball and put them into a sci-fi enviroment, with some ecchi added. It was complete nonsense. Even though the emotions and values shown were decent, but overall I didn't enjoy readingit at all.
