Since this didn't have a review, I decided to write one. First of all, you should know there's a prequel, and I would suggest you first read it. Well, the art here is nice, it flows good with the story and I found it to be really soothing, for a strange reason I felt calm and good while reading. On the other hand, the story is cute, heartwarming, and also heartbreaking, going through the difficulties both Hideo-san and Tomohisa have to overcome in order to find happiness. It made me cry too, but maybe that's just because I'm weak. Anyway, this is a nice and cute story, and if you'reinto shounen ai, then you must read it. As my last comment I would also like to add that even though you don't really like shounen ai or are unsure wether you'll like it or not, give this manga a try. I was like that, and I don't regret reading this beautiful story at all.
It's been ten years and despite the inevitable ups and downs, Kikuchi and Tomohisa's relationship is going strong. The two have found their own places in the world and are living the sweet life of lovers. But will these peaceful days continue or like all good things, this too would come to an end...? This is a story you must read!!! Just to have some real life love story references in your Yaoi stories shelf! *There is a prequel story! It is about their past, it's not bad to read it afterward but I would really suggest to read it first! ^^ β€ So, this story is so real that you can't even compare to a cute and sweet love story. It starts with love and difficulties along with love from the beginning. I think it depends on everyone point of view if it's just heartwarming or heavy and difficult love story but it shows for sure how important is tobe true to yourself and your feelings to have a happy ending... All this story was like riding on the roller coaster. Many ups and downs. It was sweet, it was sad, it was hard to read at the moments because of the pain you can feel from the main characters. But I love this story because of the emotions it gave to me. There is a huge surprise in the end. I saw it, I felt it and I couldn't think about anything else just about how strong their love was and how strong HE must be to live on. It was heartbreaking... In the first few pages of the last chapter I literally started crying T^T and couldn't stop untill the end. And the last words on the last page just killed it. (oooh my heartoo.. sob sob) Did I loved it or hated it? Every single one of you will ask it after readind it (mostly because of the ending). For me, I HATE the ending but I really LOVE their love story. The author just nailed it. Overall, it was a pleasure to read it. Realistic love story with realistic characters. Made me wanting to wish them for all the world happiness untill the end (sob sob T^T)
This manga is like a roller coaster ride. There's excitement and fun as you go up, going through life. Then, suddenly, you're at the top and then you go falling down at great speed. Although, the calm,as you're almost done, is the most painful. I would recommend this to all people who enjoy a true love story with a realistic beginning, middle, and end to one. I believe this to be one of the greatest manga's I've read. Its prequel, Kimi to Parade, is a great read too. You get a chance to see how it all started and how they came together after somestruggles. The art is pretty great too, there's nothing to complain about. The characters have a realistic view and show their emotions quite realistically to the situations they face, considering the possibilities ahead of them. The story is also quite realistic to an extent. They live out their life with their careers hoping to do good. Overall, this story is very realistic, which makes it a great read. If you're unsure by the rating this manga was given, don't be. Experience it yourself .
I read Kimi to Parade yesterday and accidentally stumbled upon this manga today. For a moment I thought I already read the same story but Kimi to Parade was their story from 10 years ago. I guess you should read that first before this one. Also I really love the story a lot. It's not overdramatic and it isn't that clichΓ© as well. Just enough to stir your heart out of calmness. I really like Akaboshi even from the story Kimi to Parade. I really like how he views things despite not being able to be with a lot of people.
