NO SPOILERS Alright i really have to do this judging on the score it got and other reviewers reviews. Don't jump of conclusions to early i got my reasons to gave it this score. Its actually 9 in my books, but after memoring about the Art it had and the last few chapters, its climax, its definitely has to be 10. Now why i gave it a 10? I gave 10 to only series which either are 10 because they deserve that, pure content like Kingdom and 20th Century boys or either because i enjoyed them thoughly and had to be a ittle bias towards them likethis one. Dont fool by the ratings it got. Just like if something which you knew is good but get the ratings at leas what you expected, don't know why, same ase scenario. Like Naruto actually got higher ratings than this like seriously?! Its definitely one of the great mangas and has to be at least 9 even if you're a strict critique. Here are few of the REASONS why you need to hop on to it:- The first thing is Art and oh boy won't you love that. Its absolute gorgeous like sketch drawing by some high level artist. Its absolute gorgeous. Second comes how's the Story and the level of enjoyment. I could assure to that just reading only 4 chapters, yes a mere 4 chapters, you'd like "Wow". That would the only thing thing to come outta your mouth and the excitement doesn't just stop there it got better.. And better. One thing for sure if you loved Light's character from Death Note not on how villainous he was well some would argue, But how smart and intelligent he was you would definitely gonna love this manga's main protagonist. He's a hell of a Smartass. This Manga would always put you on the edge, so many goddamn twists and turns, omg its breathtaking. You'd always want to read more and more but on other side would also think it shouldn't be over too quickly. Although being a short manga of just about 70 chapters there is also Character Development. One thing for sure and i could be 200% certain no matter how much of a strict critique you're, you'd still rate this at least 9. Just alone on the the enjoyment factor you'd and how much good it really was. If it ever got to be adapted into an anime it would definitely blow up the industry away.
Ichiru Mizunuma is the student council president at the prestigious Ichimatsu High School. Shockingly, he is stabbed by fellow student and council vice president Kyousuke Hino. What is Kyousuke's motive? What is the badly injured Ichiru's secret plan? (Source: Manga Box)
"Billion Dogs" with title like that what can you expect? Well, try to read on. Story: 7/10 It's a very straightforward series. There's 3 billion being hidden by the mafia, and it's up to our main character to find them in a grand heist story. It's a very tightly paced series where every chapter is dedicated to moves the plot to that direction without much twisting about it. there's spying, hacking, treasure hunting that you could expect from this kind of series. Art: 8/10 The art is very crisp and clean with a more realistic style of drawing that fits what the series is trying to do, the panelflows clearly from one scene to another without being confusing, and i think the artist also excels at capturing the character's emotion. Character: 5/10 Let's talk about our 3 main characters, firstly we got "Ichiru Mizunuma" dude have father and superiority complex. Then we have "Kyousuke Hino" the more reckless and "can't tell a lie" type of person, and then we have "Ayaha" the........buttmonkey i guess? Other than that we have the evil mafia members, evil cult, and bunch of woman characters that are drawn just to bump uglies with the villain. I would say the characters are the weakest part of this series but they all served fine in their own roles, and that's the most important part. Enjoyment/Overall: 7/10 With that all being said, i'm definitely not bored by this series. It have a simple charms to it, kinda like watching a thriller hollywood action films. If you find that kinda blockbuster popcorn flicks to be your style, this is a series that delivers on that front.
its a good read with a unique story i havent seen much in manga. It starts off pretty insane actually! i was just checking for some seinen mangas and this is one of them that popped up. I was quite shocked to see it isnt really that popular. Its not one of those mangas where u kinda regret reading it. Kaneshiro's art in this is completely different from his future works like blue lock lol, its a very semi realistic art style, but still good nonetheless, Plot: Kinda generic with some twists , main character gives off edgy vibes, the plot was kinda predictable Art: 8/10 if ugot the time do check it out, its a fun read, only 70 chapters anyways.
This manga is basically the definition of a seven out of ten. The artwork? Pretty lame but not distracting. The plot? Just interesting enough to get me to read all the way through and not regret it. The characters? Totally generic, but "literally me" anti-hero-esque enough that listless youths like yours truly will fawn over them like the abused little dogs we are. Overall? An equally enjoyable and flagrant waste of valuable time that I will never ever get back. Big picture? The world would be better off if this manga and manga like it did not exist. (Shokuryu Jinrui, Gyakusatsu no Happiendo, I'm looking at you). They are totallyvapid, superficial "thrillers" that exist to exploit a pandemic of teenage (I'm almost 22) male ennui. Will I continue to read them? Absolutely.
