Among the many yuri oneshots out there, "Koisuru Sugar Cotton" is one that I consider very special. It manages to elegantly deal with delicate subjects like transgenderism, bullying and LGBT parenting -or rather, the fact that lesbians too wish to have children. It is truly a unique achievement and that is the reason why I grade this with a 10. I am really looking forward to read more stories from Kirin Tendou.
Honestly Iβm really impressed. I was searching for another manga yet stumbled upon this short and sweet one shot. The art is great and I really appreciate the way the author deals with several LGBTQ+ themes so well in such a short time. Koisuru Sugar Cotton brings up themes like transgenderism in children (with a young trans girl being bullied for wanting to just be herself) On top of giving a little insight into lesbian couples (as the older main character needs to break up with her girlfriend because of the fact her girlfriend wanted children.) Overall magnificently well done for such a short story.Worth the read 100%
