Well, let's make it simple. I gave it an 8 because of the ending, it was good, it's more of a 7.5-ish. If you watched the anime, this is totally different, have that in mind. The good: - Closed ending, and I liked it. - Lot's of fights with great art. Gore is a plus for me too. - Likeable characters with development. - It has plot twists and the story is interesting. The bad: - The power system felt random as fk.- Power of friendship that makes the power system even more useless. - Some cliches generally related to the previous point. Overall, a good story with likeable characters and interesting development but with mid fights that have great art. The romance is important but at the same time is kinda like a subplot, let say we get the couples (thats more than most stories) but the don't have that many romantic moments, if it's a plus or a minus depends on you. If you like battle shounen were the stakes are high, characters die and you kinda enjoy romance, this is a must. It's not gonna blow your mind, but it's fking satisfying till the end.
For centuries, terrifying creaturesâknown as "Kegare"âfrom the parallel realm Magano have wreaked havoc throughout Japan. The brave men and women resisting their onslaught are secretive exorcists whose one and only goal is to eradicate all the Kegare. In the present day, 14-year-old Rokuro Enmadou is a talented and powerful exorcist. However, a tragic event in the past caused him to resent exorcists and give up his dream of becoming the strongest. In stark contrast to him, Benio Adashino is a beautiful and prodigious exorcist of the same age who carries the hopes and dreams of all people. These two teenagers, despite their differences, are the prophesied "Twin Star Exorcists": the two people destined to give birth to the Mikoâthe exorcist who will vanquish the Kegare and cleanse the world of all impurities. But as the adolescents are both far from maturity, let alone adulthood, only hardships and trials await the unlikely heroes. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
i honestly didnt expect how peak ts would be but here we go twin star exorcist seemed to me originally as ur typical shonen/romance manga but OMFD THE FIGHTS, CHARACTERS, MAIN COUPLE AND EVERYTHING ELSE BLEW ME AWAY. ts rlly had to make me cry at the end asw. honestly a great read. at first some characters especially benio can seem annoying at first with her aloof personality but the way she opens up as a completely different person thanks to rokuro is one of the main reasons why i love ts manga. The art is rlly good also and doesnt grow inconsistent towards the end
