Eh, I'm really spechless by this manga.. Why? Because I love the storyline and art and of course the characters, but I ended up droping it at after a mere two chapters. I think it was because of the pacing and how the story was developing.. But I would love to recommend it to people who love gender blender and a good romance story.. I'm not suited for romance afterall...
I have been really enjoying this one. I am a sucker for the combination of a girly guy and a boyish girl (e.g. ai ore), especially when the boy is so masculine. There is a lot of nose-bleeding in this one. It is part of the humour though, and that is what makes this one special - it is really rather funny! Ho-chan's imagine spins out of control in the most of amazing way, and I can't help but laugh. Keishi is.. an intense little man, manic for Hotari. I have had no trouble with the pacing, although the story is somewhat episodic. This however, hasn't affected my enjoyment. I am hoping that we are going to get into some more sustained story lines from this point on, and where I am at (end of volume 4) I am pretty confident I know what the next story arc will entail. And I like where it is going! The art can be a little inky and hard to follow, but on the whole it is fine. I really like the main two characters, and I enjoy the side characters too, and the way we get bits and pieces of their story.
Hatori is a tall girl who's easily mistaken for a boy, and she's in love with her childhood friend, Keishi. Even though he's a boy, Keishi is so cute that Hatori just wants to push him down and make him her own. Hatori has countless delusions and hallucinations (unbefitting a young lady) running wildly through her head every day -- and they're all about Keishi. They set her heart pounding and her nose bleeding! (Source: Shoujomagic)
I feel bad giving this manga anything above a 2 because no matter how much I love the story in general and the main couple goddamn are her friends pieces of shit. I mean there's the normal gross shit you just have to overlook like sexual assault, but there is LITERAL PEDOPHILIA here. No, not the it looks like an 8 year old but is said to be older, no not the young but looks old, in ch 15 THE SIDE CHARACTER IN HIGH SCHOOL ACCEPTS THE CONFESSION OF AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLER. THEY ARE SEEN HOLDING HANDS GOING TO THE FESTIVAL THE NEXT CHAPTER ANDEVERYONE PLAYS IT OFF LIKE IT'S JUST A "preference". This is literally the worst thing I have seen in a shoujo so far, and goddamn is there toxic shit.
