I think I know how this came about. Boichi: I really like those scenes in Berserk where Guts just takes a huge sword and cuts a bunch of mooks in half. Can I draw Berserk doujinshi? Editor: Not officailly, but just make it a little different and that should be fine. Boichi: And can I have a bunch of topless women in the background while the guys are getting cut in half? Editor: Yeah fuck it why not. This manga is pure testosterone fuel, but if you take it as just a dumb action oneshot theres something good to be enjoyed. The worldbuilding could be interesting if it gota little more focus, and it is very much a poor man's Berserk, but that doesnt mean its not fun while it lasted.
