I won't say everything about the story or it'll spoil it! Also, it's a short story, so a short review. Story- Chino's dad likes to explore "the world" (new places I guess) and always brings back souvenirs for his daughter, Chino, from his travels. This time, he brings back a real life Tarzan! How will this turn Chino's life upside down? She'll have to watch over his behavior at home and school! Art- The author successfully gave the characters the right expressions at the right moment. I would say average-great just because I've read so many other mangas (just read my list if you want to seeit!) and compared to those, its about average. Character - Although it was a short story, there was character development! However, even though there was, there were really only two characters who changed (one of them is the main character). Enjoyment - I was bored and gave this a shot, and I'll tell you, it got me out of boredom. Overall - I definitely recommend this to anyone who's into shoujo/romance/comedy mangas! If you have some time, bored, or you just want to relax and have a light hearted laugh, go ahead and read.
A girl's life s going to change because of her father who is an explorer. He always bring her presents and this time he brought a boy that he found living in a jungle and took him home. Now she has to take care of him and guide him as he tries to adapt to the city life. This is the WORST manga Natsumi Ando ever created. From start to finish each chapter had an exaggerated anime trope. Trope after trope after trope, it loses its sense of story-telling completely. These tropes practically told the story itself. Overly dramatic scenarios for an anti-climatic story. Practically every trope you can think of, itâs all in this manga. Each character also had exaggerated facial expressions; it was uncomfortable and unnecessary. Even in some scenes when thereâs a character falling off a tree or building it was SO unnecessarily exaggerated. The whole manga was an exaggeration. There is no originality whatsoever. Idk if Natsumi Ando was boredor what, but compared to the amount of great manga sheâs produced, this is an abomination. This manga would probably be good for kids but even still I would never submit children to read this piece of unoriginality. Do not waste your time. There are much better things to read out there than this manga.
This was absolutely awful. I came across this manga as it was recommended as a similar manga to other manga such as âBeast Masterâ and âBoku wa Ookamiâ. However, this is a significant step down in quality from those manga. I would not recommend this to anyone, itâs not even humorously bad, I felt sick reading it. The pacing of the manga is awful. Even after reading some pages multiple times I was often unable to tell what was even going on because the plot was so confusing. The main plot is fortunately pretty obvious but on a smaller scale, within chapters, there were some parts whereI had no idea what was going on. However, this is nothing compared to the worst aspect of it - about halfway through the manga, a character who is obviously meant to take the role of the âlove rivalâ character type is introduced. However, she is the long-lost sister of the love interest. An incredibly uncomfortable incest theme follows after this. Itâs honestly disgusting. I thought I must be misunderstanding, and so I kept reading. Surely this story was more moral than this. Surely this wouldnât be the worst manga Iâve ever read. I was wrong. It is. Donât be fooled by the 7.3 score rating. Donât be fooled by the plot synopsis disguising this as an innocent, feel-good shoujo manga. In reality, the manga is deserving of neither of these things, and itâs not worth wasting your time on either. Check out the âother mangaâ recommendations panel instead if the plot is what interests you - titles such as âDakishimete! Noirâ, âBeast Masterâ, and âBoku ha Ookamiâ share an incredibly similar plot, so read those instead.
