I absolutely love this manga! It was one of the first mangas I've ever read, and I'm so glad it was! The story is absolutely adorable, of course it does have the problem that most shoujo mangas have where the love interests don't communicate with each other and it turns into arcs, but that's to be expected from a shoujo manga. This manga is set in a bridal boutique, which means dresses and all of the dresses are drawn beautifully! I also really love the characters, they are all fleshed out and have depth to them. I really love this manga, and it is stillone of my all time favorites to this day! 10/10 I would definitely recommend.
This series is a gem. Truly the mix of comedy and yet real-life topics is the perfect mix and in my opinion unmatched second to none. story- a young girl finding her way to adulthood following her passions in love and career. as I said the author uses humor to relay serious topics of self-doubt, self-worth, death, and abandonment in a perfectly relatable way. watch as our feisty girl grows in her confidence while helping everyone in her life. Ohdid I mention the artwork!!! some of the best art I've ever seen in a manga. The only reason I gave it a 9 is the 14th book was never produced in English this has nothing to do with the author but I've read the last book online and feel that it was slightly rushed to conclude.
Ageha Shiroi suffers from a massive sister complex. When she discovers that her sister Hibari is pregnant and getting married in less than a month, she refuses to accept it. After a chance encounter with two beautiful men, Ageha accompanies Hibari to the bridal boutique Velvet Blue Rose (V.B. Rose), where she discovers those very same men are responsible for running the store! Together, Yukari Arisaka and Mitsuya Kuromine design and create wedding dresses, with the aim to make their customers as satisfied as possible. Yet Ageha is still unhappy about her sister's impending marriage, and her bad attitude causes Yukari to kick her out of the store. The next day, Ageha goes back to apologize, but after she loses her temper again, Mitsuya's hand gets injured as a result. Possessing a gift for making fashionable accessories, Ageha volunteers to help finish Hibari's wedding dress in place of Mitsuya. Before she knows it, she is thrown into the world of wedding dresses, reigniting dreams that she has had all her life. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
