If I have to summarize the quality of this manga in one word it would be, pretty fine. I think that the story it is ok in general, ok characters, ok development, ok messages (I like the way that the story tells you that love isn't related at all with genres). But in the end, I end up feeling that the manga is not really too special. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that the story is mediocre, but just that is not telling enough. This is the king of manga that you can easily read in the bus, without really having to be too focused. Soif you like reading Yuri mangas, go ahead and enjoy.
Being in an all-girls HS in which a place literally as it says, "all-girls", there will be no single boy schooler exists to the delight of the female students. But, Nishie Miu always applies the teaching of her mother that told her ever since she was a child to mind her appearance, "always be cute" even if Miu knows there is no guy to attract there. She appears to wear makeup casually, not overdo it, but her thinking of a boy is really something. She is a normal female student in the phase of early adolescence who is dreaming of fallingin love with a boy (like in a fairy tale such as a charming prince). She is so normal, a girl who isn't good at sports and like cute things. The unexpected situation happens when she witnesses Fujiwara-senpai's wrongdoing. Fujiwara-senpai, who's the famous second year student of volleyball club, begs her to not let anyone know about what's happening and grants her free-pass to do any possible thing to her. The deal is made. This chance is used by Miu perfectly. Fujiwara-senpai accepts the agreement Miu demands, to go out with her. In all-girls HS, the scheme of relationship is it doesn't have to be a guy. There will be a few outstanding female students with such popularity who are pretty boyish to be admired. This image can replace the desire of the rest of the girls to have such a romantic relationship with the real boys. That's where the lesbian couples emerge /stahp/. Fujiwara-senpai's appearance is mesmerizing with her pretty face, quite height, and has English blood. Her traits are far more superior than the normal female students in there. Her popularity drags her to be one of those most-wanted students to be dated by other students. The description of her appearance matches how Fujiwara-senpai is shown in the manga. When it's Fujiwara-senpai, all the strokes and fine movements are there, as well as how girly Miu is. For short series I kinda love it and imagine the possibility of how they relationship goes feels great, 8 for rate.
Miu Nishie was told to always appear cute in preparation for her future prince. Unfortunately, finding her knight in shining armor is a little difficult at an all-girls school. The closest thing to a dreamy stud is the school idol, Nagisa Fujiwara, whose stunning and boyish appearance captivates many of her underclassmen. While applying makeup in the bathroom, Miu hears a scream and something crash. Rushing to see what happened, she finds Fujiwara standing above the shattered remains of a vase. Desperate to keep her slip-up under wraps, Fujiwara drags Miu to the back of the school and begs her to keep the incident a secret, willing to do anything in return. Seeing an opportunity, Miu requests that they begin dating as preparation for the day she meets her fated lover. But as the schoolgirls' tale of comedy and romance unfolds, the princess realizes that her prince might be closer than she once thought. [Written by MAL Rewrite] Included one-shot: Houkago no Kanojo
secret of the princess is a beautiful and sweeping princess x princess love story set in an all girls school (。• ̫ •。)♡ omg the characters r super cute and realistic and the milk morinaga art is literally gorgeous (╥ ̫ ╥)♡ idk how i’ve never read any of her manga before now cause this is literally the shoujo, yuri im constantly looking for more of. even though it's only one volume i felt like i rlly got to know the fashionable, princess-like miu and the cool but kind of dorky fujiwara within these 7 chapters. im (mostly) femme and half ofmy outfits r j-fashion inspired so i loveeeeed miu’s cute himekaji coords :D her chapter 2 going out outfit was my favorite ! it’s crazy how natural this manga’s dialogue and pacing felt like all the emotions and the drama made sense for where the characters were at during that section of the story. also loved the references to cinderella and mentions of princesses, princes, and fairy tales :) *slight spoilers* ahhhh the last scene in chapter 4 really made this a 10/10 for me (╥ ̫ ╥)♡ the scene is executed so well like miu’s nervous yet emotion filled rambling and fujiwara’s initial surprise turned into reassuring smile feels soooo in character for both of them. the beautiful morinaga art rlly just heightens the scene too. *end of slight spoilers* so yea, if ur looking for a short shoujo, yuri with cute and realistic characters and beautiful art i def recommend this manga :D after reading this i will def look into more of morinaga’s manga cause i adored everything about secret of the princess \(。☆ ▽ ☆。)/
