This Oneshot Volume consists of three different stories. The title story Kuchizuke wa Niji no Ue de (which is 3 chapters long and fills about 50% of the volume) and the stories Tenohira no Koi Mahou and Sotto Amai Kuchizuke wo which are both only one chapter. The main story deals with a boy that attracts sunny weather and a boy that attracts rainy weather and their developing relationship. The story uses a couple of BL chlichees. The story is paced out rather well and doesn't come off as too forced. There are some drama elements but overall it is more lighthearted and includes a fewcomedy elements. The characters are written well but (mostly due to the short length) aren't super fleshed out and rather forgettable. The second story deals with an already established couple and their struggles of a long distance relationship. The third story deals with a lord and butler/hairdresser romance. The art style is good and easy to follow but nothing surprising or new. Overall this is a lighthearted and fluffy oneshot with different couples. It's satisfying but doesn't necessarily leave you wanting more.
Momozu is a frumpy, indoorsy 'hare-otoko,' and sunny weather seems to follow him around, while Toyotama is a cheerful, athletic 'ame-otoko' who's constantly dogged by stormy weather. When the two meet and Toyotama convinces Momozu they should join a mountain-climbing club together, it's a total case of opposites attracting! (Source: September Scanlations) Included one-shots: Tenohira no Koi Mahou, Sotto Amai Kuchizuke wo.
