This probably is my first review . Well, here goes nothing. Kanojo wa Sore wo Gaman Dekinai ( ε½Όε₯³γ―γ½γ¬γζζ ’γ§γγͺγ ) roughly translates to "She Cannot Stand it " . KwSwGD is about a boy who always wears a dog suit , or maybe nearly always . The story uses elements of the proverbial cocoon and psychological shell trope mixed with some wholesome ecchi goodness. The story nearly goes into hentai realms but not quite. Art - 7 The art is somewhat mediocre. There isn't a moment in the manga where the art pops out.Though There is a certain casual finesse to the art that embodies the characters'facial features and "assets" alarmingly well.Disturbingly the facial art makes the kids in the manga look younger than they actually are ( by young I mean very , very young ) Most of the background characters and the scenery have been drawn in an inconspicuous fashion which is good it is probably necessary for a psychological manga that centers around only a few characters. Character - 9 The Characters in the manga are well developed with a precise balance to their nature. Kusahana Ryouta, The Boy has serious social problems because of another student his social phobia of becoming nobody makes him wear an oversized dog suit . His Fatty-to-Charming change adds charisma to his character. One character I liked most was the Granny. She was absolutely marvelous. I mean which granny comes to her grandsons room folds the gym shorts and a bra neatly onto the bead , drops down to the floor , sits , eats crackers and says "The pretty girl left". Amazing. 3 words "Love you Granny" Story - 7 The Story is not much of an enjoyable one . It has the common ecchi element of gym-short-sniffing . The Smell Fetish and the Pet Fetish was funny for a while but then gets boring. Thank god it was a short manga (13 Chapters) . The Fight over the boy with black mail comes as a surprise. The story shares many elements of "Aku no Hana". I Hate Manga that have boring story and the mangaka deems it fit to stretch the story further. Overall - 8 A good short read, nothing Hentai, if that was what you were looking for. The age of the characters is something that bothers me . But it wont bother your reading experience. Give it a read if you're looking for a glass of fresh fruit juice after a heavy seinin or a pretty long shonen .
Kusahana Ryouta is a normal highschool boy, except that he always wears a full body dog suit and never take it off. Things were just like always until he accidentally dropped the bag of the girl he likes and her sports pants comes out and just when he picked it up he wondered how they smelled, the new homeroom Teacher Kizawa ayame AKA Ayane-Chan catches him in the act. Pleading that he will do anything if she don't tells anyone about this, she agrees but asks him "In exchange will you let me sniffle your body?". (Soure: MU)
When I first read the synopsis, it reminded me a lot of Aku no Hana which is a manga I enjoyed a lot. However, after finishing reading this I can say that this is an interesting premise gone wrong due to poor writing. I naturally have a keen interest towards stories that blend elements of perversion and psychology in it. It can serve as a way for a character who deals with the problems of puberty to develop in a mature manner, making it a sort of coming-of-age story that explores in the sexual territory. However in this story the development was not only unexpected, butit was done in a half-baked manner. We got a main character who got bullied and retreated inside a dog suit but we were never really given a proper background about it. There were brief mentions and hints about how he ended that way, but no concrete exposition was provided. We also have a weird teacher who started to have a liking to the main character but we get no actual background about her, making her a sort of unknown catalyst for the story to progress. Finally, we have the all-around nice student girl who the main character has a crush on. She is actually the most interesting character among the bunch as the story tries to expose her as not just not another pure heroine for the male protagonist to dump his romantic hopelessness to. It's a shame that the story didn't give much justice to her potential development as a character and simply cast her aside as just another rival for the teacher in a contest of bringing out their lewdness hoping the male protagonist favors one of them. The ending was rushed, a time-skip is a cop-out move. Heck, the story tries to force a happy ending on you when it's not. Overall, this is a manga that I could've loved on the same level as other psychological titles like Aku no Hana and Umibe no Onnanoko but given its short duration, inconsistent pacing, lack of solid development, lack of fleshed-out characters, this manga was just a complete disappointment.
I was a little skeptical about this one at first but I actually really enjoyed this one while it lasted. I'm not sure why the author decided to end it so abruptly, but I found the story very endearing. As far as ecchi manga goes this one kept it fairly clean, not delving into anything too creepy or perverted. I think the "student wearing a costume to school" was an oddly interesting take on the angst of school life. I would have really liked if they had gone more into the who, why, where, and whatnot of the costume and developed the characters some more. Whileits a little weird, and certainly books in this genre usually sit right on the line between ecchi and hentai, this story may surprise you.
OK I'll start off by saying what's here in the manga is good for how short it is I thought that what it did in its time was good. Story 7 The story for this was pretty decent but was really lacking for me because of the length of the story, I don't buy how fast certain things happen or how they happen at more then a few points. Even with the length holding it back the story gets the job done and I thought it was alright. Art 7 The art here I personally liked but I can't say its new or blew me away at all. Thecharacters look solid and the environments are good beyond that nothing is really noteworthy. Characters 7 The characters have the exact same problem the story did that the length really limited them, I liked the characters for the most part but then again they do things at points were its like there was a hint of something and then it jumps to them showing it all. Overall and Enjoyment 7 I personally like weird things with psychology and stuff in them so I got a kick out of this. The thing is I enjoy things like this but if you've read stuff in this genre at all but especially Aku no hana you will be calling bullshit on this manga. At the end of the day the manga told a interesting story even if it was a bit short, if you want a quick read that's a bit strange then definitely grab this.
