I really believe this story deserves more love!! In a lot of aspects this story reminds me of Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn) Art: The art of this manga is wonderful in a lot of scenes the characters look epic but what I love most is that the other scenes are equally wonderful especially the face expressions that are shown through out the manga are hilarious and what I live for. The art in this manga truly reminds me of the manga Akatsuki no Yona especially the fact that they have a cute fluffy mascot that like Ao in Akatsuki is in almost every frameacting cute clinging to the main characters or just doing it's own thing, I personally love searching for it just to see what mischief it is now up too. Characters: The characters feel very real to me and I love that the feminine lead although she is clumsy and gets herself in trouble quite a bit because of her need to help others isn't ridiculed by the main male lead as seen a lot these days in manga's which I really HATE, instead she has his support and he only gets angry at her when he fears for her life. Romance: The romance in this story is very innocent and adorable and their connection with each other once it gets going feels very real and precious I am only sad that the story didn't keep going as I felt that it was going in a very good direction. Overall; It may be short but it is definitely worth the read if you love Akatsuki no Yona like me (currently ranked the 20th best manga on MyAnimeList) then definitely give this a try!!
In the peaceful period of the early Edo period, people lived in fear of Shadow Beasts that consumed the hearts of the people. Exorcists and hunters use their abilities to get rid of the beasts, and when a young exorcist named Hibana puts herself in a reckless battle against the Shadow Beasts, she is rescued by a lone hunter, Tsugumi, causing the beginning of a romantic adventure.
