Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

Beloved animator hiroyuki imaishi tries his hand at manga and the results were amazing. It's a unique experience to read a manga drawn by a professional animator and i'm glad i got to read one based on one of my favorite anime. Every chapter of this mini series is dripping with style and aesthetic reminiscent of underground comics. Imaishi perfectly captured the personalities of panty of stocking. The art is definitely the main appeal of this manga considering of brief the chapters are. Every page retains the ludicrous insanity of the anime so fans of the show are in for a treat. I hope Hiroyuki considersdrawing manga more often. His graffiti underground comic like makes his art pop out from his peers.
