My friend is a HERO

This was so sweet, and a very unique premise. A hero character from a video game periodically visits heaven when he loses all of his HP. There, he befriends a shepherd and spends his time resting, chatting, and cuddling cute sheep until he is revived by his companion characters. The pacing is wonderful as the hero's journey leads you through the story. The art was good, but has some bits (hands, some perspective, etc.) that make me think this might be one of the mangaka's first books. But it doesn't detract from the story. The characters are just deep enough to make you care, andthe bittersweet ending is well worth the read.
