Diece is one of those mangas that you wish have 150 chapters instead of 43. Diece has a wide set of complex characters that you will fall in love with as you move along. The characters pull you in to the story and makes you want to read more about them. But why did I only give it a 7/10? THe main reason would be the manga wasted its potential to be great. The character and plot build up was wasted on the last three chapters, if only there was a way to make this series longer and have a more satisfying ending, ughh. But ifyou remove the ending (the last 2-3 chapters) and think of the manga as some on-going series I'm sure you'll love it and give it a higher number.
Naruse Kazuki and Koutake Haruki are on the advanced track of Seitoukou Academy.Though they are not connected by blood, these two whose faces are so similar coincidentally have their 16th birthdays on November 11th. However, on that fateful anniversary, the cogs of fate have begun to turn. A game involving both their destinies has now begun! (Source: Entropy)
Alright~ Let's try to avoid spoilers! So this manga is definitely something that takes you on a ride. It has plenty of ammo that it could have kept going, but it's a tidy ending none the less, it does feel a bit rushed. However that's mostly because it sucks you in and you want more and more! Best friends put into situations they can in no way control, and try to come out. It's a big story about growth and friendships tried and true. You are liable to cry as you get invested in these little guys. It's more mild than you would expect fora josei title, it's like it was intended to be shonen, but is very heavy. It's a lot of psychological damage, your heart and your head will hurt. It is definitely a series you would fall for if things like battle royals, psychological chess and warring brotherly friends scream your name!
