->In short I'd only suggest it to (tsun)dere-lovers. Asa mo, Hiru mo, Yoru mo was pretty disappointing, probably 'cause I just read Bitter Virgin but that doesn't change the fact that I didn't enjoy reading this one at all. The story or rather the concept was too blunt and ordinary. To explain the mains hatred for men the author used the 'was-raped-background' in an almost insulting way and that's all there is about background or story.Since the rest was simply boy-meets-girl/girl-meets-boy. Characters, well Shinobu is one, you'd most likely call tsundere, although she's more of the second part, and the male lead is (I forgot his name and I just read that Manga) hard to define: he's something between an all-nice-guy and a bastard. The Enjoyment was dreadful I cant remember when I last read something as bad as this without dropping it. But I won't say anything about the Art 'cause that's each to their own. Personally I didn't like it. Uhhhm thats all. This was my first review - so I'm sorry if screw up & thanks for reading.
Shinobu is a typical high school girl...with an atypical hatred of boys. Long ago, she was horribly abused by one and hasn't been able to tolerate being near them since. Now Yokomizo has appeared before herβa boy who looks exactly like the one who tormented her in the past. He's the last guy she wants to have around, but then he confesses his love to her!? If you love shy girls this is a must read manga... A girl that has fear of boys, I really love girls like that. I wanna scare them more ^_^ same as bitter virgin though but there's no rape scene, the story is straight so every chapter is a must read. Good manga. Its just the drawing style is kinda average.
"Asa mo, Hiru mo, Yoru mo" has only the barest of shoujo-style plots where the troubled girl with the tragic past falls in love with the incredibly over committed handsome and popular high-school boy despite the fact that she rebuffs him at every turn due to her own insecurities. On it's own, I don't have a problem with this plot, but that really comes down to how well it's executed and unfortunately in this manga the execution is poor. This is partially due to the fact that the overall story is very short as well as the fact that the characters seem to grow in oddbursts that don't make sense. Heck, I'm still trying to figure out what it was exactly that made Shinobu "thaw out" so quickly. In addition to the poor story and characterizations, the art quality of the book is also sub-standard. Not terrible mind you, but below what you might consider competently executed. Wrap it all up and you've got a short little story that is better off being given a miss.
This review contains a lot of spoilers, I would consider it as an outburst. How to do a show completely without a lot of real life? Asa mo, Hiru mo, Yoru mo (what a big name), managed to do this in the most crappy way possible. Perhaps this is just my opinion, not least because, I have not had the same experience as FMC, that is, I may be saying the wrong things, but anyway, I will say this based on what I think. This show, allowed me to leave completely angry and disappointed about, how the Japanese themselves treat rape in their culture. MC makesme completely stressed with her actions until chapter 6, after that, the author simply ignores all the trauma of FMC, it made me angry ... 1 - Story [2/10] - In addition to the author's complete ignorance about a delicate subject, the development is weak and lazy, the manga simply changes the climate completely, and in addition, the ending is completely forced. 2 - Art [3/10] - Art is not quite the focus of the author. Few details, weak scenarios, few scenarios designed and the weak trait of the characters. Character traits not very attractive. 3 - Character [4/10] - At first, I would say that I like FMC, but somehow it has little presence. I hate the MC, he's just forced, and besides, some events in the manga made me a little pissed at him. I hate it and the way the author built it. 4 - Enjoyment [1/10] - I couldn't have fun or find anything deep inside this show. The romance is forced and unreal, moreover, some parts are totally meaningless. Overall [2/10] - the biggest problem of the work, I highlight the lack of unreality with what really happens to people who have trauma like the FMC, reading this work made me frustrated with the author's innocence. Unfortunately it is not a work that I recommend very much, but it can serve as a learning experience that should not be done with a person with this type of trauma.
Frustrating but entertaining, it's the perfect length, it's good that it's so short. It presents itself as serious at first, but then everything else that happens centers around comedy so much you forget that FL was raped. Even so, there are "serious" moments in the form of shouting matches between FL and ML; he justifies all of his boundary-violating actions (including relentlessly pursuing FL and invading her personal space and and kissing her) as him being a man in love. And also, that she "tempts" him; he frames her allowing him to be closer to her and her trying to be less afraid of him assome kind of torture because she's "just so cute"... it's insulting. Of course FL feels insulted and shouts back but doesn't do anything to address his actions and in the end the FL falls in love even while all those trashy aspects aren't resolved. And their relationship is still shit; she doesn't put any effort into the relationship but it's "comedic" because she's "cute" Bitter Virgin does everything this manga does but better
