I felt the story had potential to be a great series if the plot was spread out more during the amnesia and conflict between characters. Also, the ending was rushed with the realization of the truth. The writer had missed far too many opprotunities to cause misunderstandings regarding the relationship between the sisters and the family. Adding to the fact the family instantly figured out the truth of something that big by coincidence made the ending bland and predictable in a boring way. This review might sound negative but it is not. The story was a joy to read and I wouldn't pass on it.Its only a one-shot so you're not really investing anything by reading it.
Marla and Jaicey are twin sisters. They were separated at birth and reunited 24 years later, but Jaicey asks Marla to keep it a secret. She doesn't want her loving adopted family to know about Marla yet. Jaicey's brother, Jake, regards his sister's new "friend" with suspicion and is mean to Marla, but she is just happy to have a family of her own, after years of loneliness. How could she have known that more suffering awaits her...? (Source: MU)
