The Magic Touch

I found this manga pretty good when I first read it years ago ( I was in middle school back then). I just finished rereading it as an adult now and saw many problems in it. I'll start with the good points : The characters are really endearing and the art is fine. Bad point for me is the story. The narration is quite chaotic and some backstories will never get a resolution, as the main character, for example. At the start of the story, we see that Chiaki has troubles with her sister always bullying her, and her mother never trusting in her. Only her brotheris on her side, but is not even aware of the troubles she is in. We see that situation in the first volume, and never hear of it again till the end of the series. Only Yousuke, her love interest, find a resolution in his own sad backstory. In short, I didn't enjoy it as much as I did in the past, it's still funny sometimes, but that's all.
