Some people in life strike out and find themselves alone. Such is the case for poor Hibino Ryouichiro. With his life not going anywhere he decides to take an entrance exam for an art school all the way out in Hokkaido (mostly because it was an easy test that he knew he could pass). Oh and I forgot to mention one tiny thing. Hibino has never had a girlfriend before let alone any friends. Hes just a outcast that figured he would start his life anew some where else. I can't hate him for that honestly. I'm pretty sure plenty of people out there includingmyself have made pretty bad mistakes they wish would disappear. Story 7/10 - Without giving anything away all I can say is he finds himself in the presence of many cute girls (one of which is a teacher) while he goes to this art school. Hes put through many trials which make him realize that he really needs to see women as women and not just sexual objects. Characters 7/10 - This section is only going to cover to the two main girls. Asou Tomoe - She like Hibino has not been very lucky in life and has also has never had a boyfriend before. She mostly keeps to herself and her art. Something about Hibino sparks an interest in her and she can't seem to look the other way. Everytime they are put in a situation she manages to make it all better. Oh and one major thing about Asou that I just have to mention. Not only is she tsundere, she has a decent size rack. Usually the token tsundere is pretty flat chested and not well endowed. >:3 Riho Kisaragi - "The school slut." This is the label she has been given. (This next part will be a bit of a spoiler sorry) She doesn't help defend herself when she takes away Hibino's virginity away in the first chapter. Riho unlike Asou doesn't really care whether or not he has a girlfriend and just wants to use him as a glorified sex toy. She generally is a good person and does care for Hibino. She also gives him good advice that does help him on his journey. Art 9/10 - Now this is where the manga has its strong point. From the design of each girl down to her birthday suit; they all are drawn quite well. The sex scenes are very sexy! The artist goes out of his way to make sure that there's something for everyone when it comes to down to the nitty griddy. This is a ecchi manga afterall. Enjoyment 8/10 - This manga was comical and had me laughing my ass off all throughout it. I fell in love with each girl in this series. I even found myself rooting for Hibino at certain parts. Mostly because I am kinda like him as well. Its nice to see the good guy have some luck with the ladies. Overall 8/10 - I can definitely say I can recommend this manga to my friends. I read this all in one day and it will be a story that will stay with me for awhile. Now I know it doesn't have the greatest story in the world but it does a good job of being a good for the most part. The ending is even satisfying. Sure I would love to see more of this series but I think it ended on a good note. If you the reader decides to read this manga I hope you go into it with a clear mind and just enjoy it for what it is. A story of a boy who finally finds out what he wants to do with his life. Most of us just beat around the bush and just waste our life away reading and watching anime ^^;
Without doing much research on the school or surrounding areas, Hibino Ryouichiro picks an art school in Hokkaido. Tricked by the school advertisements, he goes to the campus only to find out it is a desolate and cold campus. The only glimmer of happiness for Ryouichiro are the girls on campus. Just hours after meeting Kisaragi Riho, the cute girl on campus, she seduces him only to find himself outside naked after she is done with him. Feeling heartbroken and used, he finds comfort in Aso Tomoe, who lives on the floor below at the dorms. Although it is freezing outside, it is hot underneath the sheets for Ryouichiro. If this manga had ended with a School Days TV anime ending, I would have actually give it 5/10. Shounen yo Taishi wo Dake! tells a story of a university freshman, who lost his chance to potentially become a wizard, and had sex with two girls (separately) at the day he lost his virginity. The manga closely follows his daily life. Story: It's sad to say this, but the story is actually good to a certain point. Although the plot is clearly aimed at young male audience, at least the way the story is executed seems interesting at first. Art: The type of art that will neither makeyou drop the manga immediately, nor make you cry in joy. It's the type that barely let you read on. Character: You thought Makoto from School Days is a douchebag? Well, the mc here is almost as much of a jerk, except that he didn't get a boat ending. I am amazed by mc's ability to consistently treat girls like they are holes used for sex. He is stupid to the point that after a girl takes him on a trip for free, invite him to her home, comfort him numerous times, and have sex with him whenever he wants, he still think of her as just a sexfriend/friend. Oh-wait, did I mention that he did it with her while he has a girlfriend? And this just doesn't happen to one girl. It happened to all the girls who had sex with mc. I am pretty sure at the end of the manga, he did not gain any maturity from his university experience. Strangely enough, though, mc is actually portrayed as a very emotional person, as he is depressed everytime he is "dumped". This makes me wonder what is the mangaka trying to convey with this manga, especially to those who are still in highschool/middle school and without much experience in man-woman relationship. That it is okay to screw around with girls, and they will still let you do whatever you want with them? Enjoyment: I suppose one could enjoy the manga. Despite the mediocre art, the sex scenes are somehow pretty hot. However, once you think about the plot, it will definitely piss you off, feminist or not. Overall: A gracious 2/10 awarded for this manga. Oh wait, did I mention the ending is rushed?
