When I first encountered the one shot manga, I thought that it will be the same cliche shoujo mangas with a bit of fantasy... But I was wrong. It was such a heart-felt touching story that defied the conventional "happy endings" and thus was expected to be a "tragic" one... Nevertheless, the story truly captivated the hearts of its readers and will be truly worthy of your time... But for those who are faint hearted when it comes to "not-so-happily-ever-after" kind of stories, I would not recommend you to read this... Or just read it anyway then read a funny shoujo manga afterwards :)
One of my favorite one-shot mangas with a nice twist. Give this a read, it's definitely worth your time. Made me tear up a bit as well. I wasnt expecting this to be so good, this one-shot envelops you so quickly. I also really loved the art style, it was very encapsulating. Simply amazing! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a short, sweet, and a tear-jerking end. Please give this a read, you will absolutely not regret reading this. Thanks for reading this review! Idk why but I have to make this review longer? Anyways, read World End Garden
In a world of never ending winter, orphaned and banished Tete finds herself in the company of the very winter monster who killed her parents and who continues to ravage the land. It's a beautiful and bittersweet story of hope and redemption. Source: mangaupdates
