Its been a while since I read a manga which touched me like this one did. And I make it a point to read every shoujo manga I can get my hands on. It really caught hold of my heart and it really made me cry. I'm still crying when I'm doing this review. I normally never review anything even if I like it, but this is an exception. I am reviewing this because I want people to know that this manga is worth it. I'm not including a summary because it would spoil the whole thing. All I can say is, DON'T DROP THISMANGA IN THE FIRST CHAPTER! Because that's what I nearly did. And boy, am I glad I didn't. Because if I had, I would have missed one of the most heart wrenching short story manga of this year. DON'T LET THE SUMMARY FOOL YOU! There's a reason why its called a dramatic love story! If you have read the first chapter in this manga, you would know that it starts out pretty much like other manga and you'd think the female lead is an idiot. SHE IS NOT! DON'T DROP IT! You might think, ho-hum, boring, but wait until the second or third chapter! THE END AT THE THIRD CHAPTER IS WORTH IT! When you read the third chapter of this manga and everything is put into place you'll feel like you've been slapped on your face. I had not liked the heroine until then. But when I read the third chapter, I felt guilty. I felt mad at myself for hating the heroine. What i say probably won't make sense until you finish the manga but really, its very beautiful and sad and painful. Be sure to read it. You won't regret it.
Nina has one sided feelings for Hayashino Senpai. Nina is unable to see senpai until she clears the game that senpai provided... That is... to find and take the exact pictures that were e-mailed to her. But Taro from the same class was assisting her and realized how odd this game is and...?! A Painful dramatic love story! A beautiful story. It did make me tear up, but note that it was happy tears. I recommend you to take your time reading this manga, sparing a few minutes to read this wonderfully put together one-volume (and don't rush). It'll be worth it in the end. Story: It's not something completely NEW, but it is NOT your "typical" shoujo either. It was nicely paced and written. Beginning might be slow to those not used to shoujo, but bare with it- it was necessary for the story ending. Art: Both characters are drawn wonderfully. The characters are really cute and pretty, and a good amount ofdetail was added. Overall, the art did not distract me from the story, instead it enhanced it. Characters: Both character were well written. I liked how they were portrayed, falling in love with both of their personality. There might be times when you're like "Why is she acting like this?", but continue to read it, and you'll understand. Enjoyment: Just read 20 other chapters of quick oneshots, non satisfied me until I came to this one. It washed away all the bitter taste from the other typical shoujo I was reading. Overall: A well put together oneshot. It was nicely thought out, and well paced for a oneshot. If you have a few minutes, maybe 30 minutes max to spare, please to consider reading this. It's not new, but different from the 'mainstream'
I really really liked the first 3 chapters. I dropped after because i didn't found any connection with the other stories. The first story it's about a girl that really loves a boy and the boy really loves her, but she only knew that after his dead. Before dying the boy gives clues and she follows them (with another boy who ends up falling in love with her) to a letter that the dead boy wrote. But beware, that nothing is as it seems! It's the old story that sometimes we need to move on and enjoy new feelings leaving old behind
