i usually dont write reviews, but i am compelled to write one now. This was one of the first bl mangas i read and it easily made it's way to my top 10. The story was great. I finished it in one sitting. Even though things got bad pretty quickly, it didn't feel rushed at all. I rode the depression wave right along with the mc because of how eloquently the writer told the story. What really floored me, though, was the character development. it deals with the heavy subject of suicide in today's youth. You can see how twisted the mc becomesbecause of what hes been through and how family sometimes doesnt see the sickness. How far does the rabbit hole actually go? The feels were heavy with this one. I'm not one to shed tears easily so have your tissues handy. Over all, if you are a bl lover, this is a must read. I will never forget this gem.
Shuji Yashiro went to take pictures on the school rooftop rumored to be haunted by the ghosts of twins. That was where he met his classmate, Roku Ichinose, whom he always considered to be someone belonging to a completely different social world. He couldn't take his eyes off Roku's face, and took his picture on impulse. The following day, while he was organizing old photos in the clubroom, Shuji found a shocking photograph. (Source: MU)
This is my first review, and since no one has written a review for this manga I decided to write one. Story: Even though this is under Yaoi as of right there really hasnt been any romance involved in the story, which makes for a fresh change. The story is about a boy name Shuji, whos protrayed as being kinda nerdy/awkward but has a strong passion for photography. He meets a boy on the roof of school name Roku And after hearing strange rumors surround twin suicide and finding a strange picture he starts to become more and more interested in Roku. The story becomesvery twisted when the flashbacks of Roku and Kei are shown , and although the story is still developing, it's engaging and theres alot more to come I'm sure. Art: The art is good, I have no compaints about it! its more realistic style. Character: I'd say I like all the characters, Shuji is cute ^^ and Roku has a cool and mysterious aura. Kei is quite dark but very interesting. only character i dont like is the guy seen with Roku. Enjoyment: For only 7 chapter I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing how it develops! Overall it's hard to say which direction it will go but I think the story is only going to get better. I cant really see any romance or coupling in the story as of now, so if ur looking for something like that than dont bother. but if u want to read something with a darker theme and dont mind the Yaio scenes then give it a read. it only takes a few chapter for u to decide if it's right for u or not.
This story begins very slow, you basically know nothing; for me there was a lot of confusion and then you begin to get some background information. For me this story was very twisted in an interesting way. A boy who finds a picture and wants to know the background of it, why are there two people and why is only one remaining? Then we get to know about the people in the picture, and boy oh boy does it makes you keep on reading it. I was only going to read it because of the art style and the smut (of course), but I justwanted to know more about the story. I could empathize with the twin; about having a hole in your heart that you can not fill, no matter how hard you try; of course not in a twisted way. I wish I could have know more about the boy in the photography class who happens to have a similar tragedy in his life, but that's another story. The sadness of it all is about if you are truly who you are. Is it okay to be this twisted? What would people think of my feelings? Many feelings that a lot of us go through. This digs deep in a different way that you start to wonder with the main character as well. I truly recommend this manga because it has the right amount of yaoi and psychological moments.
