I was searching through Mangafox to look for new manga to read (completed and romance). I came across All you need is Love and decided to read it because over 110,000 people viewed it. I gave it a shot. My impression: "Meh." Heres why: P.S The manga is actually 7 chapters long. The 8th chapter is just some random oneshot the mangaka made. Story (7/10) Good The story was not at all that bad. It was about your typical loser protagonist meeting up with a rising star in the entertainment industry, and they just happened to know each other. The entire series revolved around the protagonist's mixed feelingsfor the woman. I would have given the story an 8 or possibly a 9, but the way the executed it was done poorly. The flaws lie in the protagonists temperament, and the rough transitions of the art. Read for more. Art (6/10) Fair Like I said before, the transitions were done poorly. Because of the shoujo - like drawing, the "glowing" ambience of the manga kinda threw me off. It made me confused because nothing seemed to be connected. The absence of the outlines bordering every panel also seemed to be another cause that threw me off. The drawings were there because it was just there. Thats what I feel about the transtions. Concerning the art, the art was decent for shoujo material. Its not good or bad; its fair. I wish the mangaka would've drawn the characters in small boxes, because it would've made more sense to me like that. Character (6/10) Fair The disposition of the protagonist was yet another reason that left me confused. The manga only seemed to revolve around him thinking "Is she really the girl I used to know?" For God's sake, I would've smacked him upside the head for not bringing his head to reality. The internal battle within him for the "yes" or "no" answer to that question consumed the majority of the manga and I considered it to be a WASTE OF MY TIME (because its only 8 chapters long. How long was he going to make me wait?)! By the time he made up his mind, I was pissed because he had the potential to do it even sooner. This is where the woman comes in. She also has some mixed feelings for the protagonist. Although the manga doesnt really focus on her as much as the protagonist, the fact that she is also confused left ME unsatisfied. By that point, I had already shut down my brain. Enjoyment/ Overall (4) Decent I am not very pissed off because this manga was only 7/8 chapters long. I am also able to accept that I read such a crappy manga because over 110,000 people on mangafox had looked at it, and liked it. Although my review may look biased to some people, this is just how I viewed the manga. A lot of people may not agree with me, but thats just how it is. Please read this manga if you have around 25~ 35min to spare.
